Not for Apple SSDs
If you have a spare Apple SSD after upgrading the one in your MacBook Retina/Air, this is *not* the adapter you're looking for.I'm sure it works just fine for the right kind of SSD though.

Doesn't fit standard mSATA SSD's
The metal clips at the end of the pcb are too far away for the standard mSATA SSD size. There are holes at certain points that are meant for the standard length but they do not line up with the holes on the SSD. It also does not include any screws to attach the SSD to the adapter.The adapter is also not the correct dimensions of a 2.5" drive. The holes are both too short and too narrow to attach to a 2.5" bracket.
