Warm feet. Happy feet. Midst of winter at NYC Central Park. A dream come true. Have I experienced buyer's remorse for buying $44 pair of socks? You bet! Not anymore! Super happy. Great quality. p.s. I wear mine on top of another pair of socks.. works for me :) 2-1-19 An update. Socks still holding strong, with no signs of wear. Functionality and all, more than satisfying. Providing warm and comfort for a good few hours each day. (Charging overnight) Wearing them over another pair of socks, and on the low heat settings, works best for me.

Overall, I think the socks are durable, work as they should, and surprisingly flexible. I wore them to the Packer game today, being on for about for most the game (on the green setting) and they certainly did their trick. My friends had either put hand warmers in their boots or they wore thick socks, but it seemed that I was the happiest with wearing the socks. I had never used electric socks until purchasing these, so the best description I can give to someone who was in the same boat is: the socks are similar to standard black nike basketball socks, and are about 2 inches tallers and a little bit thicker. The socks also have battery packs that are similar to the size/weight of 2 double A batteries tapped together with thin/clear tape. I consider them durable, for I wasn't sure if they would continue to stay warm after being in about 25 degree weather. I will update this post if anything changes, but so far I'm happy with them.

The Good: Got this as a lightning deal. Socks seem nice and tight on the feet giving an illusion that they are warm. Not bad quality socks, but not superb either. The Bad: The heating element is too small. Feels like a 1x2 inch rectangular patch over the top toe area. The patch can be irritating and scratches against the skin. With the battery on and in lowest green setting, I couldn't even feel the heat. The orange level wasn't much better. The red setting was warmer, but the area heated was too small. It didn't keep my toes from freezing because the heating circuit wasn't directly over the toes. They should redesign it and make a larger heating element that wraps over and under the toes, and double or triple the battery size to increase heat and battery life. I've noticed that all these heated socks offered by different suppliers here on Amazon are made by the same manufacture that has the G symbol stitched to them. They look identical and all have the same size battery and settings. I wouldn't recommend any of them. They are expensive and not worth it even for lightning deal. It's better to wear wool socks inside a good pair of warm UGGs.

They’re warm but the batteries don’t last long

Socks themselves were surprisingly higher quality and more comfy than I expected. Socks work as described. Batteries on medium work for somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 hours. My socks came with directions that clearly said the charger LED when charging would be red and when batteries were fully charged would be green. Works exactly as described. LEDS on batteries themselves stay red the entire time they are plugged in but as I said the charger LED turns from red to green. Adding to this review Nov 8th, 2025. Purchased Nov 6th, 2018. Today (7 years later) one socks wire frayed off at the molded plug. I ordered my next pair within 10 minutes. Love These Socks!!!!

Didn’t work well to keep feet warm

These have worked great so far. They are pretty comfortable and really heat up. The battery is a little bulky but you get used to it. It is inserted in a pocket at the top, but not sure if it would be an issue with ski boots, probably over the top of the boot anyway. My one minor complaint is with the charger. It takes a specific plug with a specific tip. I would have preferred a USB plug with an outlet adapter and a micro USB or USB-C tip. If you are traveling, you need to bring the plug with you rather than use a cable that works with multiple devices. And it needs to plug into the wall instead of a car USB or a battery pack.
