How much does the cot weigh? I see dimensions but not weight of the cot. (I also see how much weight it will support, but not how much it weighs.) Thx

This Cot Weighs Just 14 Lbs. and is very Easy to Carry with the Included Carry Bag.

Side sleepers, how comfortable is this cot?

This is a very good quality sturdy cot. We just stayed three nights at the beach but we did each have one of those inflatable mattresses that are made for cot sleeping. I am also a side sleeper and I actually had my dog on the cot with me. Just make sure you have a pillow the inflatable cot mattress and a sleeping bag and you should be good to go .

How long does it take to assemble?

Just unfold it. Nothing to assemble. That's what makes it so nice.

Does the head elevate higher than shown for a beach chair effect?

The head is elevated but it's not adjustable in any way. I thought this would be a problem when I was considering its purchase. But I like the elevated head feature.
