Good quality. Lathers well, lasts long, good skin feel. The cypress scent is amazing and it lasts through the entire life of the bar. A little pricey but fair considering the bar size and quality.

I had been hunting high and low for a lavender bar soap that was reminiscent of the ones I used in the UK and can no longer mail order. This one is beyond my expectations! French lavender can often have a bitter smell... like the British lavender, this Italian lavender leans more to a slightly sweet, baby powdery smell. The smell is soft, calming and relaxing. The lather is so abundant, silky and luxurious. The bar is a HUGE 8.8oz. Great value for money. If you like this one, try the rose or violet bars.

This soap is a big brick of awesome. It lathers well in relatively hard water and lasts a pretty good long time. I cut the bar in half so it's more like a "normal" sized bar. The smell though is what sets it apart. It's so good. It's a fresh, clean piney cypress scent and it's not at all cloying or sweet, so I suppose that makes it more "masculine" but it smells like a tree, so I don't see any reason why ladies wouldn't like it too. It's subtle during the day and not at all overpowering, but the soap itself is very strongly scented. I guess some folks like to put it in wardrobes and such and I can understand why. Still, I find it's great to use year round, it's not "christmas-y" just really fresh and woodsy. Awesome.

Was introduced to this when they Dante Nesti used to be sold at the New York Botanical Garden shop. Fell in love and was hooked. They have several scents (the fig one is another favorite of mine) and when I found it being sold here, I couldn't walk away. I now have a recurring subscription. No soap experience comes close to this, and my skin exudes the scent hours after I shower. Love love love so happy to be able to get this soap and in this size which tends to be best for the lasting scent. Relaxes me. Highly recommend.

Strong lavender scent--I throw a bar in with sheets and pillows instead of a sachet.

I love this soap. Good mild scent that last for about 2 hours after showering. Incredible lather as all Nesti Dante soaps have. The short coming of this soap is the moisturizing. Nesti Dante soaps need MORE moisturizers as they leave my skin very dry and ashy. I wish they would add more moisturizers in their formula. All and all, I loved the shower experience.

These soaps are amazing. I have several and they have not gotten at all soft or goopy on the bottom like other soaps do. The soap remains firm. This is probably too masculine of a scent for me personally, and the scent is relatively lingering on my skin, but I have other scents from this brand and they're great! I don't dislike this scent, it's just a personally too masculine for me. I still use it to wash my hands in my kitchen though. All of these soaps make your skin feel great and I can highly recommend them! Bar will last a LONG time.
