I have been using this shampoo for more than 5 years. Tried to switch but nothing comes close to be as good!

Tons of people are saying this product is fake yet, it has not shown signs of that.Let's start with the smell; I would have to admit that it's not my favorite, it's almost orange-like in nature but, it is light and does go away. Most lux products have some sort of smell associated with them.Secondly; the actually product did seem to work well with my hair but, you NEED a conditioner on hand because this product dried my hair out in the show, which I was not expecting. It could be my hair type (oily).Thirdly; I have a sensitive scalp and this product hasn't hurt it in any way.After the shower, and dried hair... I love this product. I thought I hated it in the shower because of how dried it made my hair but, it was worth it.Would I recommend? Yes! Treat your hair with this product. Yes, it costs more than drugstore shampoo but, it's worth it.

I love the scent. I love the body and luster you get. It leaves your hair soft and very manageable.

Got it for my mother for Mother's Day - she swears that it keeps the color in her hair and helps her hair not fall out. She loves it. She has been using it for years and her color is on point and she still has nice hair, so maybe it does work

very good shampoo. I took one star out because of the alarming high price, but it's worth it. I like the appearance of my hair and it is even growing! I am not using other stuff different than before so all I can guess is it is because of this shampoo.

My favorite shampoo--very hydrating without weighing my hair down. I always have this onhand, Great product but it's risky buying on Amazon with all the complaints from people who've received non-genuine products (or perhaps watered down). If you suspect you've received a bad/counterfeit/watered down formula that is different from previous purchases, please cite the seller in your review (on Amazon, the sellers change often for a given product so no one reading your review knows from whom you purchased).Good Sellers I've had (so far) for Bain Satin 2: CosmeticMall.com, Pharmapacks and Wiki Deals.

My Daughter and I have used this for years and I can say it seems like the real deal to us.You would have be be very good at switching this brand without it being noticed.It clearly has the same scent,the same color,and delivers the same results as the salon bought one.Of course if you have never used this than you have no idea what this should look like and smell like once you open the bottle.Only difference is price point which is much cheaper here on Amazon than salon.However if you have any doubts I would suggest buy elsewhere. With that being said it works amazing on our hair just like always.
