My Daughter, I Love You and I Believe in You by Suzy Toronto, An Inspiring and Heartfelt Gift Book for Birthday, Graduation, or Christmas from Blue Mountain Arts

My daughter is 11 yrs old and has a twin brother, and she was feeling like she had to compete with him for my attention and love (Preteen angst)., but I listened to her and I had this book saved on my lists for months and after a heartfelt talk with her, I knew that she needed something that expressed how much I cherished her and believed how special and amazing she was- when I gave her the book (with a lovely inscription) she loved it! I figured she might look at it and then maybe read a page or two, but 2 hours later, she came to me crying and hugging me after having read many pages. I have always loved the illustrations of this artist and had her calendars and amazing "feel good" message for girls and women - so, I am so happy that it was received as I had hoped. There is nothing like a bond between mother and daughter and sometimes you need a book like this to deliver the message. Thank you!!

At first I bought the similar book for my son. I loved it so got one for my other two sons and this one for my daughter. They made me, laugh, smile and tear up. Perfect for my kids. My kids are adults with children.

This is a be!beautiful book with many precious things to say to my daughter. I am 71...she is 37....and we are very close. I wanted her to have a pick-me-up when she is down. She loves the book and so do I.

My daughter loved the book, this was one of her Christmas presents.. she read it the same day I gave to her, cried and said the book was very touching.. she is 12 going on 13!

Last year's Suzy Toronto calendar (2014) had an inspirational message each month that I could relate to, some months almost speaking to me directly. So had to have this year's calendat. I also bought the a Suzy Toronto's book with poems for a daughter. I love this author! I highly recommend her work! The quality of the calendars and the book are great! By: Colleen, RN!

Tear jerker. Happy tears. I read all pages before giving it to my daughter. 100% “relatability.” That matters a lot. I even highlighted parts and added notes. My daughter is 23 years old and gave it as Christmas gift. She loved it and read all. I think it’s best time to give it when they are more mature and really appreciates the value of motherhood.

I was looking for some positive book that I could give to my daughter for a little gift. This was perfect. I liked that this book reflects many of the feelings that I have that often my daughter can't hear me say over her teenage year issues. I am hopeful that she will remember the things in this book as she goes through these difficult teen years. It is exactly as pictured. It is bright and colorful and positive. It is uplifting and positive.

I thought this was a coloring book when I ordered it but it is a small greeting card type of book; it will do well as an extra gift for my daughter whom, I'm sure, will pass it on to her daughter. Colors are bright and text is cheerful.

This book is the most stunning book I have ever read and it portrays my feelings for my daughters perfectly. I think it is more aimed towards an older child because of some of the parts where it talks about them venturing into the unknown and not quite for her current age of 10...But I could be mistaken.
