Purchased this for my son who is an outdoor photographer and climber. Knowing that he is at times very active in the very cold but then has to be still to capture an image, my goal was to keep him warm. I had purchased layering and outer shells from Patagonia and Columbia but I wanted to make sure with his photography and documentary work that he could stay very warm even if he was standing in one spot. This was a new technology and my son is a professional,I was hesitant but wanted to give it a try.It's been a year and💗HE LOVES THE JACKET ! 💗Not only does he wear it daily but he tells me that he should be a Rep for the company because everyone asks him about that jacket. this is a great little jacket. I haven't used it in rain or any kind of wet weather but it keeps you warm and blocks the wind. Its not thick so it's easy to move in but it is warm. I recommend getting this if your going to an outside event, maybe purchase an extra battery if you'll be gone long because it doesn't last all day but it has served me well on every use so far.If this thing adds my height n weight with the size just know it's huge on me but we got it big for my husband (5'8", usually wears 2x and it fits him well) and kids to use as well while we are at softball tournaments.

The battery has some weight in the lower left pocket area however the coat does not feel like it is being pulled to the left. The battery is flat and thin with a large capacity. The jacket is self monitoring so it won't over heat you but if being over heated is your thing it will do that too. I will be buying a second jacket!!

The jacket definitely helps keep the cold out when running the heat, but it's not so thick as to be too warm for a fall jacket. The pockets are a little small, my phone doesn't fit great. I charge the battery maybe once a week or 2. The material seems to work well for repelling water as well, has kept me quite dry in the rain.

Bought this for a man at work that had recently came back to work due to being out with cancer. He would freeze as we work in a factory with no heat in the winter. So we Bought this to help keep him warm! Battery life is great, and it works for what we need!

A friend has this jacket and loves it. But my order did not come with the bag or charger. Will update my review if inget the missing items and can actually use the product*UPDATE: Exchanged product. This time it came with the charger though still not the bag it mentions. Will update again once it's been used.
