Heavy well built cabinet. Only minor issues, none are deal breakers.
Excellent price for a very well built sub cabinet. Carpeting is very well glued down. Cabinet walls are quite thick & has a sufficiently high resonant frequency that will never be activated at frequencies that subwoofers operate at. The opening for the driver was a little larger than expected. My driver is on the smaller side for 10" subwoofers but it did fit. Trying to get an airtight fit for the driver was not all that easy due to the carpeting. I would have liked the driver to be recessed but I understand why the likely reason they left it flat. I don't feel much of any vibration from the cabinet other than when the sub is shaking the floor that it is sitting on. Given the increased air space inside the cabinet, shaking the floor & walls is much more intense than before. I now have twice the excursion compared to my old subwoofer cabinet. Given the way I tune my subwoofers in which I tune for extreme extension, not loudness, my system can now do a very respectable job reproducing deep bass instruments such as synths & pipe organs. There is enough energy in the bass to give a solid impression as to how it might sound live. Note here, not claiming live volume, just the impression of what it could sound like if listening to it live. That it does extremely well. Not bad for a 10" subwoofer thanks to this cabinet.

Fits a Kicker Comp 10 pretty well
I picked up a dirt cheap Kicker Comp 10" sub on a thrift store visit and this box was approximately a good fit considering the TS parameters. It's not exact, but it was also cheap and I didn't need to build a box for so I won't complain. Currently filling in the low end for a pair of cheap bookshelf speakers. The TV is old and gets attached to whichever older gaming console I'm interested in at any given moment. Powered by a 100W chip amp and while it won't shake the dust off the walls, it works well enough that I can't quite justify throwing together a more comprehensive setup.

Bigger box Bigger sub more bass.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I didn't pick this box. I ordered the rockville 10 inch subwoofer box. They sent the other one. Glad I kept it. It's bigger than the rockville box and puts out more bass. I wanted more bass so I cut out the opening to fit a 12 inch sub. The bass is great.

Great for the price!!
All in all, this a great little box! One big plus is that the opening was NOT 9" as stated, which would be too small for most 10" subs. It is in fact roughly 9-1/4"... much more appropriate! I say "roughly" because top to bottom, the opening in my box was a hair over 9-1/4". Side to side, it was a hair under. So my sub almost fit perfectly, but not quite. I'll need to trim / sand down the left and right sides of the opening a little bit, to get them up to the full 9-1/4". It seems the manufacturer may need a new circle template... As others mentioned, it is indeed 3/4" MDF on all sides, and 1" for the baffle. Seams are all sealed with wood glue. The port interior is painted black for better appearance. I wish the carpet was black, and a bit thicker, but aside from that, it seems durable enough and was well glued down. The carpet around the port opening had a few small overhangs, but nothing a fresh utility knife blade couldn't take care of in seconds. One other wishlist improvement would be if all the edges (except the speaker opening) had been gone over with a roundover bit, just for a bit better appearance. Terminal cup is nicer than the usual, black / red plastic ones. Aside from the minor gripes mentioned above, it really is a nice little box for the price. And bonus for me, it is almost exactly the right airspace WINisd suggested for my specific sub!

Works awesome
I have a power sub in the box now and it sounds great. The hole size was a little small so I had to force the speaker in but no big deal. Super light and looks great and strong

Box feels solid, looks good and measurements check out. 1" baffle and 3/4" construction as described. Box fits my sub but I haven't installed into the car yet. For the price on a prefab box, I can't complain. People who complain about the cut in the carpet, that's where the seams meet. I wish it was on the bottom not the side. But once in my trunk, who cares...?!! Will update I'd there is any issues once installed. But I don't foresee any.

got the box for less than I could buy the materials for let alone the time it would take me to build one.Excellent design with built in vent and my 10 inch subwoofer fit perfectly.I read one review the the speaker conector on the back was flimsy they must have fixed this problem the one on mine is nice push and release and fastened in solid.I highly recommend this product
