I actually did research to find what I thought was the best FISH OIL OMEGA 3 pill brand possible. I was thrilled to see this item was not only rated highly but sold at a very fair price. The ingredients were exactly what my doctor recommended after my BAD Cholesterol started going up a little bit. Omega 3 Fish Oil 1200 mg. I had taken fish oil in the past and didn't really like it so stopped. But after using this brand I am impressed with the quality. It is tasteless to swallow making the ease of use simple with a slippery coating protecting the Fish oil inside. In the past I know that this product is effective to use in controller my Cholesterol so I know this brand will perform great. After I bought this brand and started using it, I happened to open a CR Consumers Report magazine and was shocked to see THIS BRAND listed as one of the top ones that they recommended. As a general health benefit, I decided to investigate fish oil supplements and stumbled upon these. The price was right so I figured I'd give them a try. The directions are to take one pill three times daily but I opted to take one pill twice a day. They are rather large but go down easily and don't have any unpleasant smell or aftertaste so I was pleased thus far.I wanted to write a review three days after I began taking these because I was amazed at their effect but I decided to wait longer just to make sure what I was experiencing wasn't a fluke. All I can say is... wow! I've been taking these for almost a month now and I'm still so impressed with the completely unexpected results.For two years, I've been suffering from joint and nerve pain in my shoulders and, as a result, sometimes in my upper arms. The pain began after a really bad pinched nerve in my neck (caused by my workstation setup) started affecting my shoulders and arms. The pain was so chronic and intense that it brought me to tears and it would often radiate all the way to my fingers, causing numbness and limiting my range of motion. Over time, the intensity of the pain lessened, thanks to muscle relaxants, chiropractic care and regular massage therapy. However, I was still left with discomfort in my shoulders that would occur when I would bend a certain way or when I would sleep on my side. The latter caused me to toss and turn throughout the night and wake up feeling exhausted, even after sleeping 8+ hours. I assumed it was just a part of aging and that I'd have to learn to live with the discomfort.Well, here comes the part of the story that I, myself, even have a hard time believing. This is why I was feeling more rested every morning!Look - I'm no doctor but, without a doubt, I believe these fish oil capsules are the reason for the return of my mobility, the elimination of my nerve pain and for waking up energized! There is absolutely no other explanation for this rapid and unexpected improvement. Furthermore, I can eliminate the possibility of a placebo effect because I never took these for my nerve pain to begin with.I obviously can't say that these will have the same effect for others as they've had for me but I am completely sold on these supplements! I bought this due to a social media group i am in that had multiple recommendations to use a Fish Oil for eye issues (blepharitis.) To date i have only taken 1 a day for about a week. At this point I have found no fishy aftertaste (as long as i take with a meal, otherwise i do get a burp of fish oil sometimes, TMI i know). These are medium size capsules so if you have issues, be aware. Haven't taken long enough to have an opinion on effectiveness for my eyes, but i will add that some neurologists i follow recommend Omega -3 (Fish oils) for older adults for brain health if they aren't getting it from food (i'm primarily vegetarian so could easily be deficient). This brand is owned by Nestle and i have read they are looking to sell it so need to watch that space in case the formula gets changed
