One of my staples
Curcumin is one of my staples, and Longvida, a form optimized for brain health is my favorite. I've taken to including Longivda along with several other neutriciticals and vitamins as part of my daily health routine. I'm sufficiently convinced that it contributes to a boost in mood and mental acuity. There are some very good curcumin supplements out there, and I do occasionally swap things up. (Certain others seem more optimal for joints and inflammation, for example.) Obviously, I'm banking on the long-term payoff too. NOW is a sound brand that I've had good experiences with. I've chosen their product because it's the best value out there. I've read that 400 mgs. is the minimum effective dose. Here, you get 50 days in comparison with 30 for roughly the same price elsewhere. It's worth checking out the various forms of curcumin. Curcumin on its own isn't terribly bioavailable (i.e. it's not well absorbed). Definitely look for something with bioperine (which enhances absorption). I've had good results also with BCM-95, another trademarked extract.

Bought for brain, but helped my toe
I was interested in curcumin for its purported neuroprotective effects and chose a formulation with longvida for its supposed ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. In essence, I wasn’t looking for a noticeable fix; I was thinking of long-term health benefits. But something pretty amazing happened. I’ve had a bunion on my right big toe for over 20 years. The pressure point discomfort I’ve alleviated via shoe selection and shoe stretching. But the general foot achiness and occasional acute pain that have become more pronounced over the last few years — those are things I haven’t been able to resolve. Cortisone shots don’t help, and I’ve just assumed that the time for me to correct this through surgery is getting closer (for those of you who know anything about bunions, the two podiatrists I’ve seen have both categorized my surgical level as “moderate”). Here’s the (unexpected) amazing part. For exercise, I mostly bike. I also walk, but don’t enjoy it as much due to my achy foot. Jogging, I’ve pretty much cut out, for foot reasons. A day after starting curcumin, I went for a longish walk, and my foot felt better than it has in years. Wow! I wasn’t even thinking about the curcumin, I was just thinking, “my foot doesn’t hurt, wtf, and how can this make me so happy?!” Two days later, I went for a walk and a run. Same result — pain lowered to a level I didn’t think would happen without surgery. It’s only been 2 weeks, but I have been ecstatic being out and about, on my feet but not annoyed by them. I’ve never taken other anti-inflammatories for my toe (eg, aspirin, ibuprofen), so I don’t know whether they would cause improvement as well. The only other supplement I regularly take is vit D3, which I’ve been taking for years.

Great product, great price
This is the best price I've found on LongVida, and since it's a patented formulation you know you are getting a consistent and trustworthy product. I've tried hundreds of supplements over the years and LongVida easily makes my top-5 favorites that I hope to take for the rest of my life because of its efficacy at fighting inflammation (it noticeably improves my chronic back pain and my wife's chronic skin rashes). It puts all other curcumin supplements to shame

Good brain support
I have been taking NOW CurcuBrain with Longvida Curcumin for a while and I do feel some benefit. My focus seems a little better and I feel less foggy during the day. The capsules are easy to swallow and I like that they are vegetarian.

Improves ADD symptoms when paired with meds - personal experience. YMMV.
Late-in-life ADD diagnosis had me starting a med in recent months with my doctor's support and observation. I began taking this at the same time, and inattentive symptoms drastically improved in a few weeks. However, I've noticed that on days that I take my ADD med but forget to take CurcuBrain, my symptoms return. Nowhere near as bad as when I didn't take anything at all, but noticeably there. I've forgotten it a few times, and inevitably notice mid-morning that my focus isn't what it should be, which is when I realize I didn't take this. To clarify, I'm an avoid-pills-whenever-possible type person, and noticed this effect before implementing a tracking method to ensure I take them daily. For me, there's a direct causal relationship between days I forget the CurcuBrain and the 50%-ish return of my focus issues.

My quest for good sleep and good health
As a man in my early 70s, I struggle to get good quality sleep, and with a family history of Altzheimers, I want to do what I can to help keep my mind functioning well. Since good sleep and a well functioning mind seem to be dependent on each other, I'm concerned about what supplements I should be taking to help keep my mind healthy. This is a Longvida curcumin product that is reported to cross the blood brain barrier more efficiently. Since degeneration of the brain is normally a slow process, I can't really tell if this is helping from day to day. I take this product in addition to another curcumin product containing Theracurmin. My choice in this product was based part on research and understanding of the Longvida formulation, NOW Supplement's good reputation, and the reviews here at Amazon. Check my other reviews and may God help you in your quest for good sleep.... and good health.

Great for Inflammation
I bought this product for my mother who lives in England. She has rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and chronic joint pain as she works 6 days a week. She is a hairdresser and is always on her feet carrying a blow-dryer or scissors. This was recommended to her by a doctor in the USA to take 2 capsules, as an alternative to reduce inflammation so she would have less pain and discomfort in her daily life. I can say that this works very well, she takes it everyday and feels less pain, more movement in her joints and keeps her moving. She stopped taking this for 1 month and immediately noticed the effects of not having this supplement. Her elbows and knees would hurt after a day of work whereby the supplement would immensely decrease the discomfort. She swears by this and has taken a multitude of supplements in her life.
