The photo in the product description showing the coverage of the light at 10ft, 16ft, 24ft etc. is accurate. Our house is one story about 50ft wide. We thought we'd need two of the lights to cover the entire front. We placed one light approximately 15ft from the front of our house about 15ft left of the center of the front and aimed it slightly back toward the center. The lights fully cover 40 - 45ft of the the front, all but the farthest right of the house by the front bedroom (wouldn't want the lights shining there anyway). We first placed the light on its spike in the front lawn grass, but the light wasn't hitting the the top of the roof due to the angle from 15ft away. So, we painter-taped it to a little tree in front which had lost all it's leaves; now the snow is cascading from the peaktop of the roof all down the front walls all the way to the grass in front of the little tree and the effect is just what we were hoping for. We like that we could speed the light flow to two faster settings and set it to the fastest so that it looks like a real blizzard (what Texans would imagine a real blizzard to look like!!!) Anyway, we love it! We're thinking if we had two of the these lights, we wouldn't be able to get out our front door in the morning after a night in such a heavy blizzard!!!

I purchased this Christmas Snowfall Projector when my grandkids were coming to visit. I thought it would be a cool effect inside our log cabin home. It was a big hit! They loved hanging out in the living room with this "snowfall" coming down on the walls. It is super easy to install and the remote makes it much more enjoyable than to have to pick it up to adjust settings. The timer function is perfect to allow the kids to fall asleep to it without it being on all night. I took off one star for durability because it is a rather cheap plastic but still achieved the overall reaction and look I wanted. In spite of the thinner plastic I would still recommend since it is only going to be used seasonally for a short period of time.

These are very lightweight, so I wasn't expecting much from them. The remote has to be mashed a few times before the untit picks up on the signal. The instructions are just terrible. But once they were set, they came on by themselves every day at the right time, and made it look like snow falling on our house and in the backyard in the trees. The dots don't get small enough for my taste, but they're fine. Close-up, they are actually little squares, but once they are projected on the house they don't look square anymore.

The light was great and all the functions worked on the remote until it was outside for 2 days. The light would not respond to the remote. It ended up stuck on a setting where the simulated snowfall looked too fast and unrealistic and could not be changed. Not recommended for a Wisconsin winter.

“Snow fall” is not an accurate description. They’re polka dots. Maybe stars? But they don’t move anywhere near fast enough to look snowy. And the size of the dots is much too large.

I absolutely love this light. It works perfectly and looks beautiful. It's one of the best Christmas snowflake lights on the market.

I did not want to go all out this year on a falling snow projector this late in December so I bought this one. I am super pleased with its performance. It does give off a falling snow projection without looking too mechanical. Remote works really well. The instructions were not the best as far as remote functions go, but I figured it out. Its plastic and very light but after a few days it is working really well.. Overall a great decoration without spending much.
