A few days and this is the perfect iron. Sturdy, easy to use and does not drip. The vapor jet is strong and very effective on shirts leaving them without creases the first time you pass on them. Tried it vertically on a linen shirt and did it very well too. It is slightly bigger than usual but this is a good thing b/c it covers a larger area while giving you the chance to get to the smaller corners of the shirt. I love using it and am looking forward to my next ironing session. I hope it will stay that way...Will try to update you later.. I wish it were double voltage to take it on my travels to Europe where it is 220V.

i tried before Philips iron that was a bit expensive than it and don't have such a long wire and quality features. it have such a strong steam blaster that is enough for any kind of wrinkles. over all good quality product. highly recommended.

This iron started smoking, and the fire alarms went off in my house. The iron was on the proper settings and had plenty of water. Could not figure out the issue. This is the first time ever buying a Hamilton Brach product and will be the last. Just missed the cut off to return this item…unfortunate.

Works fine for crafting, makes strange clicking noises when first turned on, good steam blast. Works fine for fusing interfacing. Water fill door doesn't stay closed.

Ideal steam iron for use on the most stubborn of wrinkles with the proper heat and weight to make the chore of ironing a bit quicker and easier. Priced to meet most budgets.

My old iron finally quit after 20+ years, and maybe it had been slowly quitting for quite some time, but it didn't make anywhere near as much steam as this new iron. Very happy with this purchase, especially when I press the steam button and I see that big whoosh of steam. Ahhhhh.

We have been using HBeach Irons exclusively since 2012. In particular the Model 19800. We are quilters. I am a longarm quilter and the iron in service gets used 5 out of 7 days a week. After five years my last 19800 lost over 90% of the plates coating and I switched to this Model 19805. We have several in use, laundry room, sewing room and longarm room. Sadly, after hearing a buzzing noise not normally associated with a steam iron, and being, only slightly, shocked via the handle, of the 19805, put into service on 4/13/23, purchased 3/23/23, went belly up. So I contacted, HBeach, per their website instructions and filed a warranty issue. Within the warranty period of one year. Apparently falling on deaf ears. Haven't heard a word. The 19800 wasn't broken...they didn't need to fix it. We will be looking elsewhere, other than HBeach for our irons.

Seems to have something in the sensors that keep turning itself off. Instructions do not help. Have to unplug and wait 5 minutes to get it going again. Would be a good item if it worked properly. Now its just something to make me mad. Stay away from this one.
