Stepped on uneven NYC sidewalk and snapped my ankle tendon. Heard a pop and it turns out I didn’t just twist it, but ruptured the tendons on both side of my ankle. The bandage my doctor gave me was great and more comfortable but not sustainable for me to walk on daily. So I got this after looking at so many reviews. Love it. I bought other kinds for ankle support but this one was the best. I have a tension sock which is really nice too but does not provide the foot stability and proper posture like this. Was able to put up Christmas decorations for a few hours no problem. I will say I have to take it off after 5-8 hours depending, to get the circulation back in my toes. If I don’t rest often between errands my feet get swollen like piggy feet. So I have to put them above my head to get the inflammation to go down. Sleeping in it is difficult due to how tight it is so I decided to buy a larger size after buying and testing a few others. Made the mistake of using a copper gel sock which was nice for my brother for Achilles injury but for ankle tendons it was excruciating. Woke up sobbing in pain. Downsides: The straps snag the sock fabric. So be really accurate and stick the band on the band not the sock if you want to keep it looking like new. Mine has snags all over because I didn’t understand how to strap it thinking it was the the sock, not band on band. The printed instructions were confusing. There is a video link that was super clear to understand. And once I saw that, easy breezy. Size reference. Purchased Medium Size 8 shoe and 11.85 inches measurement top ankle to heel. I could of probably used large to start with but I do like how tight and stable my foot is. Also great color choices for the pink. Will be repurchasing.

this brace is comfortable and comes is many colors my foot is size 9 woman's and I got a med. if your sprian is mild I think this would work for you. What I don't like is it is in two pieces. The long piece that wraps around to give support could be easily lost.

This brace works well for light to moderate support. It fits snugly, reduces pain, and helps with conditions like plantar fasciitis. I found it helpful for exercise and daily wear. For long-term stability, you might need a more heavy-duty brace. Verdict: Comfortable and supportive, but not built to last forever. Good value overall.

I have been having issues with an Achilles being sore. I got these and wear it for my runs. It seems to be helping some. The compression sock is not too tight. I got an XL and wear a size 12 shoe. The straps have Velcro on them and wrap around the back of your leg/ankle so you can adjust to be however tight you want it to be. The velcro straps come with little black fabric on the velcro, so make sure to remove that.

Helpful, tight. If I had gotten a small it would not have fit. I’m on my feet for 8 hours at a time. It helped tremendously, would definitely recommend.
