Smaller than I expected, but definitely useful for an indoor/outdoor cat or to help your local feral cat population. Seriously - this thing might hold one normal sized cat or 2 kittens max. A fat cat might be a tight fit. Unless your cats sleep on top of one another, this is a single household. Super easy to setup and I liked the cute graphics - it took about 2 minutes to put together. I like that the roof is separate and overlaps the sides so rain & snow can roll off without dripping into the house itself. The plastic/vinyl material is easy to clean in case of any "accidents" or other ickyness that might be found inside. Simple and small, but quite nice for cold nights!

We’ve been seeing this little stray tuxedo cat around the neighborhood for almost a year. Only a month ago have we started to feed it. And now that we get to see the personality of this beautiful kitty up close, we are all in absolute love with her! She began sleeping on a regular cat bed (not enclosed) during November. And on one particular evening when a cold front came in I could see the cold wind blowing the trees around. I could see the fibers on the bed blowing around. And I saw kitty all rolled up in a perfect ball tucking her face in her body trying to keep warm. I knew I had to get an enclosed heated cat bed. So I bought the Petyella bed and set it up next to our outdoor laundry room. For several weeks she completely ignored it. Then I started to worry that if winter was anything like last year, she may have to endure 20 degree weather not realizing she had a heated bed to crawl in if she needed. So to get her familiar with her bed, I sprayed a few squirts of catnip oil on the bed. Then she immediately crawled in, rolled around a few times, then started rubbing her cheeks all over the bed. As soon as she sat up, she looked at me with a look on her eyes, like “hey this is heated, kitty like!” She’s been using it regularly ever since. And now I don’t have to worry about her when the weather gets cold. A couple things to note about this bed: 1) the bedding isn’t that warm to the touch. But keep in mind it doesn’t need to, because this is insulated and will be plenty warm to an animal inside. Using an infrared thermometer, the inner heating element gets just over 100 degrees F. Once the heating element is inserted into the bedding, the bed gets to about 80 degrees F. This was observed when outside temperatures were around 40 degrees F. This is New Orleans and this is about average temperatures during our winters. We’ll see if the inside temps. remain at 80 when outside temperatures dip lower than 40. If so, I think our kitty will be able to avoid most discomforts of the cold! EDIT: We’ve just experienced a week of fridged temps of 24-32 degrees (wind chill was 11). As temps degreased, I took 2 small blankets (each were plush material at 4’x4’ size), folded them over and laid them over the heated bed. With those temperatures outside, the inside of the heated bed was 75-80! Kitty was so warm and cozy that she rarely left her house! This bed has really saved her from much discomfort and possible frostbite! 2) If your cat is ignoring this bed, don’t force them inside. Instead, try putting catnip on the bed. They’re likely to ignore the bed no longer! 3) this bed has been through a couple outdoor rainstorms and has done really well. It isn’t entirely rain proof, but after several hours of rainfall (mind you, it’s up against an outdoor laundry room), I’ve noticed only slight dampness getting in through the flap(s). An ideal situation is to keep the bed under some sort of cover, while being able to reach an electrical power source safely. 4) I’ve read other reviewers say the bed is too light. That hasn’t been a problem in my case. It stays put. Our kitty has an easy going personality and doesn’t move the bed. Nor does the bed move when wind blows. Overall, this bed is awesome. It performs well under harsh conditions. And it is super cute! The picture I’m including in my review is of her in her bed, inside her little multch garden with a few little petsafe plants planted next to her bed. She even has her a little Christmas tree next to her bed! I think she has come to really like her heated bed!

This works. My cats love it. It keeps them warm. It was easy to put together. It’s a reasonable price. It’s in the sunroom where I have two cats who prefer to be there. They love the house.

Got this for a community cat who has been hanging with us for several months. A lady down the street actually feeds a bunch of abandoned cats. And this was one of hers, but he wondered down our way and is staying. So I guess it’s true cats choose you. Now that he is staying I wanted to give him shelter. This cat house has 5 feet and won’t be sitting in water. I did re-inforce it with duct tape inside and out. I live in western Pennsylvania so we don’t get super strong thunderstorms but I wanted to be sure nothing blew away. Thomas is enjoying his new shelter though inspite of my handyman additions. I cut the front door into strips so he can more easily get out and I duct taped the back door shut so it would be warmer for winter, so it’s now just a window. The warming pad works and puts out heat in a subtle way. I was able to set the timer. To come on at night and off in the morning. Assembly is easy just fold using the Velcro. Because it was new to “Thomas”, his new name. I bought cat nip and sprinkled it on the pad inside when I first put it outside, to lure him inside. Once you lure them in and they see how comfortable it is. They keep using it. My only con is this only fits one cat. “Thomas “ has been bringing what we assume is his sister and that was the reason I enforced it with duct tape just in case they both squeezed in but she seems to be coming to visit in the day and remaining down the street with the Lady who use to feed them. Would be nice if it fit two cats. And had more feet if larger. Noticed other brands have bigger ones though not with legs. I like the legs since my porch tends to collect water. Overall very good product. Thomas seems to like it.

The perfect outdoor cat house for our community cats. We tried one door flap at first, the cats were nervous. Removed both door flaps then the short haired cat walked into it right away and fell in love with the heated mat. With the weather turning cold at night she stays in the house from evening to morning. It can fit 2 of our cats but only 1 uses it every day. It’s not 100% waterproof. But we positioned it on our back porch right up near the house so it gets some protection. Holding up so far.

This house is not only adorable, but very easy to set up, sturdy, and the base layer heats up nicely. Nice protected cord for outdoor use.

It is so cute and so perfect. I put it under some trees for additional protection from the weather and didn’t attach the clear plastic “windows” yet because I want the stray cat I bought it for to get used to it and not feel trapped.

Light weight seems to be well insulated the sturdiness is good very easy to put together the bed is soft I did add a blanket to mine. Cat seems interested just not sure yet time will tell if my cat enjoys it or not but I’m happy with the order A bit later update my cat loves it

Recibí el producto rápidamente a pesar de que la fecha inicial me salía a varias semanas. Cumple lo que me promete, recibí todo lo que está anunciado. La casita es de muy buena calidad y se arma fácilmente. Me gustó que la alfombra calentadora tiene un cierre con lo cual es muy fácil lavar la alfombra. El calentador funciona a la perfección, y está muy cómodo el hecho de poder escoger en que momentos del día se prende. Nada más hay un error en el anuncio de la página porque dice que en el calentador cada botón representa 15 minutos cuando más bien son 30 minutos. Lo único que todavía no encuentro o no vienen son las 4 pequeñas hebillas de seguridad (safety buckle en el anuncio), pero fuera de todo todo está perfecto. Lo recomiendo totalmente

This is a great cat house. I haven't used the heating pad yet as it stays indoors. It is made from a weatherproof/ waterproof material. It an easily be taken apart, collapsed, wiped down, and cleaned. There are 2 openings, one on the front and one on the back. It cames with 2 flaps/ doors, and legs.

Das Häuschen ist wirklich schön. Allerdings steht in der Beschreibung nicht, dass es mit einer Spannung von 110 V betrieben wird und somit in Deutschland nicht nutzbar ist. Außerdem ist ein US-Stecker dran. Darum musste ich es zurückschicken. Man hätte drauf kommen können, da es aus USA geliefert wurde, da es aber auf der deutschen Amazon-Seite angeboten wird, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass es auch bei 230 V läuft. Rücklieferung und Erstattung lief problemlos.

Definitely saved this little buddy which was spending canadian winter outside, giving him a warm place to rest, and gave us the chance to catch him, and finally adopt him. It's a bit small for adult cats, but who cares when they need a warm and dry bed.
