Superior quality
Perfect zero alignment with sharp carbide faces. Very smooth operation without any slop, so dial stays put during measurement.

These are B grade calipers that may be returns from another supplier.
It was not perfectly clocked,, the rule and carriage have multiple deep scars along the surface and the oil on the body had evaporated some. Not particularly keen to see any of this on a brand new set of calipers....

Good caliper
Good Mitutoyo quality. I liked the old style head better than the new style, but still a great caliper. I like the carbide tips to do minor scribing
