SOUNDS CRAZY GOOD!! SOUNDS UNREAL!! THE BEST SPEAKERS ON THE MARKET HANDS DOWN!! I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN A PIONEER PERSON. WHEN A TENAGER, I BOUGHT PIONEER IN THE 70S, BEST THEN AND BEST NOW. BETTER SOUNDING THAN ANY BRAND OUT THERE. I PURCHASED KICKER 6×9 SPEAKERS INSTALLED THEM, AFTER 3 DAYS I SAID DID NOT LIKE THE SOUND QUALITY OF THE KICKERS, SENT THEM BACK. IM GOING BACK TO PIONEER. I BOUGHT A SECOND SET OF THESE PIONEER SPEAKERS,1 PAIR FOR FRONT DOORS, THE 2ND PAIR FOR REAR PANEL, WHAT A AMAZING DIFFERENCE IN SOUND QUALITY WITH PIONEER. THEY KICK ASS!! I DO HAVE A PIONEER AMP AND A EQUALIZER, PAIRED WITH THESE SPEAKERS MAKE VERY GOOD HIGHS, MIDS, AND EXCEPTIONAL GOOD POUNDING DEEP BASE. TRUST ME PLEASE, DONT READ THE REVIEWS AND WATCH THE COMPARISONS AND WHATS BEST, THEY JUST WANT U TO BUY THERE BRAND, DONT LISTEN TO AND DONT WATCH COMPARISONS ABOUT WHATS BEST AND WHAT'S BETTER. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE, PIONEER ARE THE BEST CAR SPEAKERS OUT THERE, END OF STORY.

I installed it on my Subaru Forester 2024 using a Metra bracket. It produces an amazing sound. I am very satisfied with the high quality sound in all areas of high, mid, and low ranges. What surprised me was that the bass range was very powerful and it worked well in place of a subwoofer. I can feel the vibrations in the car. Pioneer automotive speaker engineers have worked great to produce these speakers. I saw on YouTube that the engineering team explained what has been improved from the previous model so I decided to buy this set of speakers.

If you are asking them to really thump some Bass you need an amp. They would really rock out in a box but in a vehicle they are very limited with bass. If you are asking for clear beautiful sounding music these are very good speakers for most music.

good product easy and efficient upgrade for factory amp. lowest frequency response range out of its price range, outperforms many that cost more. ended up getting the a6991f, i guess its identical except for the grill style and the depth is a tad smaller.

The more expensive the speaker is the more sound quality it would be? Wrong! I have tried Infinity KAPPA-93IX Kappa and was very disappointed with the sound quality. Then, I try this PioneerTS-A6990F. Wow! It sounds much much better with the price by half of Infinity. Highly recommended.

This was bought as a Cmas gift. It came on time and as described. My son didn't get around to attempting to install until after the 90 day return policy had expired. I contacted Electronic Bay hoping for an exchange of correct size with no loss of money to them, and they didn't even attempt to work with me. I was send a very generic denial email. I am aware of the return/exchange policy, but it would have been very helpful if they would have cooperated with an excited 17 yr old.
