No reason to use standard steel nylock nuts when you have these. They're plenty strong for anything an 8-32 screw would hold. I think the screw or whatever it's holding would probably break before the nut. Much lighter and easier to fit anywhere they're needed than regular nylocks. Very nice.

Purchase these because they claim to be stainless steel for underwater equipment but I learn quickly they are not stainless! You can see the difference between a stainless machine screw and this nut which were underwater for the same length of time.
