Dont mix with tap water people! It = lumpy mixture
Time and time again while researching which clay to get, which is sodium bentonite clay NOT calcium bentonite clay.. while reading reviews, people are reporting their clay mixture is lumpy and they were unsatisfied with the clay or that the clay increases in volume when mixed. this was because they are mixing it with tap water that inadvertently had minerals and metals in it that the clay absorbed, because that is what bentonite clay supposed to do! I bought this clay to make armpit masks haha for detoxify my armpits from deodorant so that i can switch to natural deodorant easier. It really has helped but i think the apple cider vinegar helped even more. I could swipe my pits with just vinegar and all day, i do smell like vinegar, but i don't stink like armpits. haha! Still, the clay has helped with the process and my armpits dont stink horrifically everyday anymore. I've used the clay several times both on it's own and mixed with other ingredients to make DIY mask. I use bottled water because I do not know what is in the city water lol i don't want to make lumpy mixture.

Should always have this on hand
Look up the 100’s of uses for this product. I mixed a 1/4 cup of clay with filtered water and sealed in a glass jar up in a cupboard. It’s clay- it won’t go bad. I use for bug bites, bee stings, abrasions, drawing paste for slivers AND as a face mask a few times. This is great stuff to always have around.

Quite effective
I used this as an ingredient to a mixture for cystic acne. It worked pretty well mixed with the natural oils I paired it with to address a large cyst on my ear.

Perfect for our toothpaste recipe
We use this with distilled (boiled) water, a few drops of food grade orange oil, stevia and a few drops of minerals. The consistency is perfect for toothpaste; it mixes well with the correct amount of water and makes a great paste! It lasts for weeks once made. This is my favorite powder for toothpaste and my kids have never had a cavity, which I think speaks to the efficacy of the clay.

Good product, messy packaging or handling
Works well in the applications I need it for. Was disappointed that there was an apparent break in the seal (the dusty product puffed out of the container each time I grasped to unscrew to open), and when it took a lot of work to get the lid unscrewed only to find the seal was broken and whatever adhesive was used to secure the seal to the container was stuck to the lid also creating a bit of a mess.
