This is a great blend of herbs and seasonings that you can use in many dishes. It is fresh and flavorful. I have purchased it twice.

The perfect fresh onion seasoning. So far it was delicious in my French Oinion Soup and Meatloaf. Also, sprinkled on my fries.

pros: great balance of flavors If you are new to cooking or testing new meats/cooking styles etc, good tester size cons: container is trash. Yes magnetic, yes sprinkle and pour options, but the top twists poorly. so very little. Lasts 1 month if you cook a few times a week. I've been on the road internationally with no home base for 12 yrs. No home base means I have no closet or kitchen in which to stash my stuff. Instead I have 7 suitcases that get swapped out throughout the year. So I've needed travel friendly items including cooking spices. These are fine for that. If you know you like French onion flavors, grab the ingredient list and combine the individual spices into a mega mix. This is a very small container and the container itself is a fight. Sea Salt, Onion, Sugar, Dill Tips, Chives, Garlic, Basil, Chervil, Tarragon, White Pepper, Parsley. Also, the garlic salt from this brand smells great but doesn't deliver on flavor - all salt, no garlic flavor once done cooking.

Very happy with this blend. It is clearly onion, but onion with manners, and works and plays well with others. The tiny note of sweetness brightens it - a nice surprise. The choice of ingredients is well-rounded and doesn't depend on one or two dominant flavors to tell you it is onion. Not harsh. Not salty. This tastes more like a food than like a seasoned salt blend from the supermarket. I've tried freeze-dried shallots, dried white onions, dried green onions, and onion soup mixes but they are sad and much too strong. And wasted my money! This is a quality company and I liked their Za'atar seasoning so much I was confident giving this a try. Highly recommended. The magnetic bottom is strong enough to cling to the side of the fridge and not slide down, but is easy to remove. The seasoning comes in a little plastic bag tucked into the container. Easy to open and close.

Mixed experience with this product. I like the flavor, and while the packaging tin is attractive, functionally it's a dud. To use it, you rotate the top to an opening on the rim underneath, using either the "sprinkle holes" or the larger "slot" opening. This is made more difficult because mine was packaged carelessly and got dented right on the rotating top. Turning the top is not very easy, but it's not a lot worse on another product from them that wasn't dented. So once you rotate then you sprinkle/pour it, then rotate back to the closed position - - but many times the thing fights you to rotate. It's a lot of fn work, to be honest. It's an interesting idea but not a good design/execution of it. It's also bad for the onion product because many of the onion pieces don't fit through the sprinkle, so you have to use the slot - - but way too much comes out way too fast. Maybe would be better to transfer it to another container that doesn't cause so much PTSD - - Post-Traumatic Spice Delivery!

Used this seasoning in my Thanksgiving turkey recipe...it was so tasty!
