Just what I wanted fit great for my retrofit and sizing new components.

I bought a jazzmaster online where someone had installed these horribly ugly black Schaller tuners. I knew i wanted to return to the classic Fender vintage style but the peg holes had been drilled out to 10mm to fit the Schallers. I ordered these hoping theyd fit but half expexting there to be some issue (which always happens when im DIY fixing guitars. These were very tight - in fact i believe theyre 10.5 mm, but i used some good pliers and gentle but firm pressure they slid in nicely. The fits is so tight I hope i never need to take them out because it’ll be tough. But i got some vintage style tuners and the for and look is totally perfect. I think even if this set of tuners were to need replacement i’d be fine with these bushings.

These are perfect for those who want to install Waverly tuners on their Martin guitar. Unlike the much smaller Stu Mac bushings, the 14 mm outside diameter of these bushings will completely cover the notorious raccoon eyes left behind when removing the Martin tuners. Though I believe this 10mm would have easily pressed into the 3/8” hole (a fraction smaller than 10mm) on the Martin, I chose to use a 10mm step bit to drill out the hole. They pressed in easily with a C clamp. Only modification needed to use these bushings with the Waverly tuners, is that you will need to drill out the .24 diameter inside hole to accommodate the .25 (1/4”) shaft on the Waverly. I realized after doing so on my drill press, that it would have been easier to install the bushing into the headstock first, then drill it out with a 1/4” bit in a hand drill. The difference between .24” and .25” is ever so slight that the bit goes straight through without any effort at all.

I like the open back - I like seeing the mechanical workings of the tuners. Fitted them to my Blueridge BR-180, perfect fit and operation.

I bought these to install vintage style machine heads to a newer guitar. These grommets worked perfectly. They look great and do their job like they should.

Just what I need for my partscaster. Bought some Guyker locking tuners but didn't pay attention to the size (for 9mm holes) so they were a bit loose. These Dopro were a very snug fit in the Squier neck. To be honest the guitar has been messed with so many times (at least 2 sets of tuners) that I've no idea if that's how all Squiers are or if the holes had already been widened. As you can see, the flange/surround is considerably wider and chunkier than the Guyker ones, so not very "low profile"
