Nice tool, works great. Easy to line up wire. Quality, stable with power drill. Works as it should, smooth operation. Just need to find replacement blade. I'm sure it's out there, I just need to take a minute to look for it.

Once you get it set up for the size wire your stripping, works like a charm. Easy set up and faster and much much safer than using a razor knife. Good quality and well made. Should last a long while. We use a variable speed drill so you can go as fast or slow as you want. Made of thick aluminum except adjustment screws, cutter and feed wheels are Steele so it's light weight and can be mounted in multiple locations easily. Well worth the money, would purchase again.

Works very well, easy to use, solid design, very effective and precise. There is a small learning curve to using it most effectively (when you’ve got smaller wire, like one of the wires from within an extension cord lines up and the blade set, lower the hole slightly to give it tension and it helps stay on track while it pulls it through). I’ve used mine for years and cashed in hundreds of dollars of copper I wouldn’t have time to strip by hand.

Works pretty well. Takes some getting used to. The splitter needs to be dialed for it to work properly.

This is my first time leaving a product review, so that says a lot. I can’t believe how fast it can strip different gauges of wire without having to spend too much time to adjust the blade and the guard. The blade is really sharp, very easy to install, perfect size so it doesn’t take too much space, really good quality, really easy to use and adjust so you can control how fast the cables will go through and stop it when you need to. I would recommend this with eyes closed. My only regret is not buying it earlier. It was way cheaper than the electric wire stripper I have and much more convenient and fast. It saved me Hours of work.

Absolutely incredible! I used a cheap, old, Bauer mixing drill that you can get at Harbor Freight to run it and it ran smooth as silk! This thing paid for itself my first time scraping wire. To be fair I did have about 40lbs saved up. If you're serious about scraping and you're fed up with the cheap wire strippers, you need a StripMeister!

Man I have been stripping wire for years by hand and THANK GOD someone told me about this it has saved me so much time and money i screwed it to a tabpe to make it more user friendly and you can adjust the blades to strip any gauge wire from 18g up to 4/0 with ease blade has stayed sharp thing is made well durable GREAT PURCHASE IF YOUR ON THE FENCE JUST BUY IT IT WILL PAY ITSELF OFF 1ST USE

I am an electrician specializing in remodel projects, so I am always pulling out old wire and recycling it. I have thought about getting a stripping machine for a while, but always thought I needed a big and expensive one. I finally broke down and thought I would give one of these smaller ones a try, and like others have said: why didn't I get one of these years ago?! It works well, and strips wire much faster than I could with a utility knife, and much safer, too. The unit is small, but that is a plus, not a minus. It is well built, with good milling of the solid aluminum frame and moving parts that fit tight but move easily. I bolted mine down to a small block of wood just big enough to hold it and the drill to run it. I can then clamp the unit to a work bench or stand, and easily store the assembly away when I am done with it. I will say that it can be a little finicky. Although the feed angle is not super-critical, it does matter for how well the material feeds through and, if set poorly, can cause the wire to slip to the side of the cutter wheel. Also, stripping smaller stranded wire (so far in the #14 - #12 range, I haven't tried others yet) requires much more accuracy with the cutting wheel, otherwise you end up with a lot of copper slivers as the wheel will cut the strands as well as the insulation. However, it doesn't take a lot to fine tune the adjustments, and once set, it runs really well. Therefore, any other reviewers stating they are having trouble with the wire not staying under the cutting wheel is simply not paying attention to their setup. Although I would not consider this is to be a production stripper, I have managed to strip thousands of feet of wire in just a couple of days. There are a couple of things this little stripper will struggle with, such as stripping the outer jacket of round multi-wire (aka 3-wire plus ground) cables, but again, with a little but of tweaking, it took me less than a minute to set up and strip over 100' of 12/3 that was probably made in the 70's or 80's, which has a much thicker jacket and a lot more paper filler inside, so it was quite a challenge. Once the inside wires were separated, I was able to just run individual wire after wire, and a couple of minutes later, I had several more pounds of bare copper in the pile. Overall, in a couple of days I will have finished what would have taken me weeks to do, plus I will get more money per pound for the stripped wire than if I didn't strip it, so this little unit has pretty much paid for itself in no time. If you are in the market for stripping a fair amount of wire, but not looking to make a living out of it (need a bigger machine for that), this little unit will certainly do the trick.

I am a weekend scrapper of all metals , copper and aluminum wire , I was doing all by hand , a friend let me use 2 strippers he had , one used , one brand new , on the used I had to keep adjusting it so cutter wheel would be centered , was only somewhat better than by hand , tried the new one , much better , did not have to keep adjusting , I decided to just by my own after that , got this stripmiester and it flat out blows those other 2 away , works awesome ,pulls wire in nicely I use the low speed setting on my dewalt drill , cuts hard body wire like nothing , other units really had trouble with soft body covering , I just set the cutter wheel down a bit more and no issues at all , this will pay for itself easily and most importantly will save me so much time .

I really like the performance of the machine, it does hours work in minutes and minutes work in seconds. It completes its targets perfectly. I am very happy with this machine.
