Vitanica Slow Flow, Menstrual Support with Ginger, Vegan, 60 Capsules

I must agree with all the other positive comments on here. This drug is a miracle, life changer and life saver. Literally! Reading all the comments/testimonies on here gave me hope when I was going through it. I am 55 years old, evidently perimenopausal. I had a period for 2 weeks straight(which was already concerning for me), then at the beginning of the 3rd week the bleeding became very intense and heavy. I was going through an ultra tampon and maxi pad every 2 hours around the clock. This totally came out of the blue. I was alarmed and didn't know exactly what was going on with me, until I read some similar reviews on here. Some women had even went 29, 30 + days of heavy, intense bleeding. I couldn't get into see a gynecologic for 2 weeks. I knew this bleeding couldn't continue to this degree for that long. Thank God I came across these pills online and immediately ordered them. It was a continued longer 2 days of extreme heavy bleeding night and day until I finally got them in the mail. I was hoping the results would be immediate...but they weren't. I had read in the comments where one lady tried taking them every 3 hours around the clock, so I tried that. This didn't work at all. By this time I was well into my 5th day of intense bleeding. I decided to take them(3 pills) every 2 hours around the clock sitting my alarm. FINALLY after nearly 24 hours of doing this I started to see results. Each 2 hours praying. Then I noticed I wasn't have to change my ultra tampon until every 3 hours, then eventually every 4 hours and so forth...then I ran out of pills and had to wait a 12 hour period before receiving my next bottle and I starting more freq bleeding again. Once I got my second bottle in the mail I started them every 2 hours again for a short period and then slowly, but surely noticed the bleeding was gradually slowing again. At this point I am in my 9th day and each day is getting better as I have started my 3rd bottle now. I did notice better results with the slow flow that had "fast-acting support" written on the bottle, than the bottles that doesn't have that written on them. I had obviously frantically ordered these from 2 different sellers on Amazon and didn't realize the bottles were slightly different at first. I do not know if the "fast-acting support" are any different or if by the time I started taking them I was already getting better regardless and it just seemed these pills were working more efficiently than the ones from the bottle that didn't have that written on the label. Just thought this was worth mentioning.(I have also sent pics of each bottle for reference) As I am writing this review it is 11pm at night and I realize I haven't had to change my tampon since around noon today...10 glorious hours. I am taking them(3pills) about every 5 hours now. I am praying hopefully even tomorrow I will be able to reduce my dosage down the recommended 3 in the morning and 3 at night...and then praying again in the next few days after that eventually stop bleeding entirely. But whew! what a ride these past 9 days have been. I hope if anyone has been surprised and worried by unexpected, uncontrollable, extreme bleeding like I have, that my review helps you, comforts you and gives you some sort of hope as other reviews on here did for me. As of now I am waiting on my 4th bottle to come in the mail this week. Hopefully I won't need it though. Blessing =) ...oh and a side note I did start taking iron supplements on day 2. I highly suggest anyone with heavy bleeding to do this.

Since I'm in the US and Healthcare is a business here, and I'm grossly under insured just to get the insurance I can, I have to be careful about how often I go to the doctor. I did have some rx left over that wasn't expired yet and that rx only worked half the time when my monthly decided to freak out. Freak out as in so bad I would almost faint, I slept a lot, I was so weak, couldn't stand for more than a couple of min, felt like I was giving birth to clots the size of an adult's fist and it would last WEEKS. It happens around twice a year. My only cure is a hysterectomy according to my doctor. But I can't afford my high deductible at the moment. I took my rx and it slowed things, but made me feel like I was dying from weakness and bloating. So I stopped and the hemorrhaging ramped back up. Bleed to death and feel OK but weak or feel like dying and only half the blood. Sigh.So I tried this.The label directions aren't the same as the directions on the product page. So I followed the label directions and took 3 of the regular pills. Within a couple of hours it slowed significantly but I didn't feel bloated. I saw another review here that said to use the fact acting stuff, so I ordered that. While waiting for the fact stuff to come in, the bleeding came back with a vengeance. I started the fact acting bottle as soon as it came in. Within 24 hours, only an occasional clot here and there would occur and I felt energetic and not bloated. Within 36 hours the nightmare ended and I'm free.The pills are massive and there's no real after taste. I feel better taking them with a bit of food and about 8oz of water. Usually pills don't set well with my sensitive stomach, but these did just fine, no issues. The value for the money is good, because it's cheaper than feeling like you're dying, changing feminine products every half an hour, doing emergency laundry every day, or getting surgery in the US.I don't know if this is a long term fix as this is only my first time trying it. But if you're in a tough spot like I was, I just wanted to say it worked.And for what it's worth, I'm usually a naysayer about herbal/ homeopathic remedies. Like I really did try this because I had no other hope or obtainable options. I'm so happy and appreciative that this was available. Thank you!

Works really well and I experienced zero side effects

I've only used this for one full cycle so far, and it's been dicey. So no five-star rating yet. Taking the recommended amount can get real pricey, too.The bottle says you can take this up to six capsules a day for a short duration -- which it also says is three months. Alternately, it says, you can take one a day long-term.Usually being conservative in trying new things, I opted for one a day for a month before my next cycle, because this situation has been going on for three years and I am really, really tiring of it.Nothing! One per day didn't help at all. Until, in desperation, during that awful cycle, I went up to three in the morning, three in the evening. Apparent success! For whatever reason, my flow dropped down to a more manageable amount. Still heavy by any standards, but oh so much less biblical.I think between cycles I will stay at one per day, and when I start, go up to six per day. This will soon be my second month trying this pattern. If the six per day while on and one while off technique seems to work, or especially if it doesn't, I'll report back.I am adding some tincture versions of some of these same herbs to my regimen next month, so my scientific study won't be quite sound. I just want the flooding to be manageable until menopause. At least now, at this dose, I believe these herbs will help.

Definitely helps! I’m in perimenopause; when I miss a period or two when it comes it’s brutal. Heavy last a month with spotting afterwards. I used this as directed the whole period. The first week was a lot but I could leave the house and the second week was like a normal period. Then it ended! No spotting. I also drank red raspberry tea leaf 4 times a day everyday and took chasteberry. I will buy this every time!

Cancer and reproductive harm should be the first thing stated. As a breast cancer survivor I would like to know this before ordering. I will not put this in my body knowing that. Hate that I ordered this and it can’t be returned.

I am so grateful for this product. I had started hrt, and after the 2nd month of hrt, I began bleeding for 3 weeks straight. I understand that it can take up to 6 months for your body to level out after starting hrt, but I couldn't afford to lose any more blood. I decided to finally quit the hrt cold-turkey, knowing this might prompt an actual heavy period. It did. Tired of bleeding after 3 weeks of hrt and now a full-on period, I discovered these supplements. Thank the Lord! After taking them 3x a day on Day 1 and then 2x a day on Day 2, my period subsided, and I began feeling back to normal. After the first 2 days, I just took 1 supplement for "maintenance" for the next couple days. It's been 10 days now, and I haven't bled since and feel like my old normal self. 😄 (Answered prayers). I've always had heavy periods, so I'll keep this in my arsenal in hopes that it keeps things "in check" every month. Best wishes.

I took 3 capsules of this product the day of my heavy period (2nd day). It stopped the bleeding after 30minutes so in that aspect, I believed it helped. I took 2 capsules before going to bed too the same day.But the next day, after taking 2 capsules in the morning, I had severe menstrual cramping that was really the worst I've experienced later in the day. So not sure if it's worth taking but it helped with the amount of bleeding. Period ended on the 5th day. I usually have periods ending on the 6th or 7th day. It's non returnable though so think about the risks before buying. Not sure if I'm willing to suffer another bout of severe cramping on my next cycle. Surprisingly, my iron levels from the labs after my period decreased compared to the months I've not taken it. It's very weird. I was hoping it would help with my iron levels by having a lighter period that's why I bought it.

This does not help women with menstrual issues or people who suffer from dysfunctional uterine bleeding, but it's good for women with normal periods or short heavy periods.

I dont know why I bought this stuff - snake oil really. Does nothing.

Helps with period flow that is sometimes much to heavy.
