Lovely story - we have seen the cartoon episode of this story and our boy loved it and laughed at it hence we brought the book. We have other books in this range so knew what to expect quality wise. Colourful and bright, all the characters you would expect and flows nicely. Our 3 year old picks it regularly for his bedtime read.

My three-year-old twins LOVE Paw Patrol and books so I decided to buy them some new Paw Patrol books as part of their birthday presents! I typically try to buy board books if that edition is available since they are more durable but my kids are slowly growing out of the extremely destructive phase so I figure the Little Golden Books are a good option. I remember Little Golden Books from when I was a kid and seeing these brings back so many memories! They are just how I remember with the thick, cardboard covers, colorful paperback pages, and signature gold spine. At approximately 6 1/2 inches by 8 inches, they are the same size as other Little Golden Books so they will look great next to others of the same series. The Itty-Bitty Kitty Rescue is adapted from the TV episode entitled "Pups and the Kitty-tastrophe" which is on the Paw Patrol DVD. It tells the story of how the pups need to help save a kitten named Precious multiple times. My kids love the version on the DVD so I knew they would enjoy the book as well and they do! They are able to recognize scenes from the show so they understand what is going on. This story is like a typical Little Golden Book story, it's short enough to read within about five minutes but long enough to tell a nice story without it ending too quickly. I think children of any age will enjoy this book since mommy and daddy can read it to their kids and, as kids get older, they can start to read it themselves. Whether or not your Paw Patrol fan has seen this episode, this book would make a great addition to your book collection and I'm pleased that my kids like it so much! These books are very reasonably priced and I will definitely be on the lookout for more of these Paw Patrol books. My family highly recommends it to yours!
