Dont buy
Rubbish. Kids hated them. To soft and too heavy.

Application not messy and leaves a good tacky finish

This is a really nice set of balls, a tad expensive but I really like the chalk white color of the plastic they are using. They seem to play quite nice, the quality is pretty nice overall, I don't know how long they will last as one of them already has taken on some damage and will probably be unplayable soon. If they were a bit cheaper I would be all over these but for around the same price you can find balls that will definitely take more of a beating. The color really sets these apart for me though as the chalk white really pops compared to the color of the table... So I like to have some fresh ones on hand if I'm playing a special game. Still gonna give them 5 stars because the only "downfall" is when you price compare with some other high end brands.

I have sent back for refund… what was sent was not 4 star competition balls… instead, 1 star practice balls sent.

Killerspin has been one of my favorite TT supply brands since 2010. These are their new balls that are completely made of plastic and a little harder than the now outdated 40mm celluloid balls - all in compliance with the ITTF new standards for Tournament leve TT balls. I love the all black logo printed on each ball. The balls have a nice slightly-gritty texture to them - not smooth like the old celluloid balls. I feel like my sidespin serves grip the ball better and the ball trajectory is better on each bounce. Been playing with them about 1-2 hours a day for a couple of weeks and they are still going strong - nice bounce, grip/texture, and no dents or breakage from lots of looping and smashes (both on the table and walls lol). I want to buy a whole box of these but since they are such good quality, that can get expensive...BTW, the price on amazon for 3 balls is almost DOUBLE the price on the KS website and other online retailers - just FYI. Yes, and these balls have a different sound, higher pitched than the normal sound from celluloid balls we are used to but nevertheless sound good. I can’t get enough of the sound of TT. I recommend trying these out, these are the only premium US brand TT balls that are comparable to the butterfly A40+ and G40+, Nittaku 40+, etc. Blade: Stiga Pro Carbon Rubber: Stiga Mantra M on both sides
