It look good sitting at the bottom of any tank out there and will grow millons of bacteria that neutralize fish waste in your tank. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome *by R***A on January 6, 2026* Not bad get the job done ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is probably one of my favorite bio media *by J***S on October 1, 2015* This is probably one of my favorite bio media. Be warned that this media is quite large. I did not use this for any biOrb system but instead used it in a freshwater refugium. The nice thing about this media is that it is very similar to the texture of broken porous rock and looks very natural. And even though it is quite porous, it does not begin to look dirty or clogged even after months of use. I noticed my nitrates dropped from around 20 ppm to about 15 ppm after putting this one pound bag in my small refugium. I only use this ceramic media in my refugium, but an additional filter I have running on my tank runs other ceramic medias.
