The pattern is, as it reads, “EURO BEAM” This type of beam is a sort of compromise between “Driving Beam” ( straight narrow highway beam) and a “Fog /Flood Beam” (less long distance penetration but more wide concentration for illuminating the immediate area in front and sides of road) The EURO BEAM is deeper reaching distance and also spreads to the sides, so neither a narrow penetrating beam with no spreading nor a wide spread beam with no depth A very good beam that has it all If you want specific patterns the you would need (for depth and only narrow road illumination) a Pencil Beam or Driving Beam For only concentrated power in a wide but close area, Fog or Flood pattern

Will this work on a fj80 land cruiser?

Hi! I had to return the lights, they were to deep (lens to back of case) to mount on my Safari Rack. I liked them, but check your figment. If you have depth on your mount, then Yes, I would recommend. I like the look of Hella, well know and fits the look for my old Range Rover. I bought a different set of lights, also Hella.
