Super high quality and amazing support!!!
UPDATE - July 29th, 2020: BrightEyes Customer Support is incredible! Not only are their products incredibly well designed and manufactured for the price, but their support staff are of the highest caliber. I contacted BrightEyes Customer Support on their website form on July 21st, 2020. I recieved a prompt email reply from Donald R. I explained to him that the charging unit I recieved with my STAMINA 1800 was not functioning properly, and that the indicator light was steadily flashing green. We both agreed that the charger could be a fire hazard and may have possibly caused the battery pack to not function safely, even though the battery pack seemed to be functioning normally. I was honestly just expecting to replace the charging unit. However, we could not be 100% certain that the charger has caused a malfunction within the internal battery circuitry. So to be safe and cautious, Donald R. immediately offered to ship me a brand new charging unit and a brand new battery pack for the sake of safety. I gave him my serial number and order information and my address, then he told me that he would be shipping me the new items as soon as possible. I recieved the new charging unit and new battery pack in the mail via USPS today, July 29th, 2020. It it was shipped on July 24th, 2020. Upon plugging everything in and connecting both devices, it is now functioning safely and properly. Most companies will ask you to return the entire product in the original retail package for a replacement. I has requested to just replace the charging unit so that it would save time, cost and postage. Donald R. said not to worry. He saved me the trouble of packing everything to send back and resolved the issue by simply shipping me a new charger and a new battery. NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL GREAT SERVICE! I am now a life long customer and supporter of BrightEyes products and I will continue to order from them and recommend them to all of my friends and family members for as long as they remain in business. The STAMINA 1800 Lumens Bike Light kit is very well built, extremely durable and projects a powerful and well balanced light for bicycle enthusiasts who are looking for safety and visibility in poor weather and night time excursions. The mounting hardware options that are included should please customers with a variety of different bar dimensions and helmet designs. This really is one of the nicest, most intense and versatile bicycle lighting products you can purchase. Plus the quality of the product and customer service support that you will get for the price is probably the best in the industry. So don't hesitate to buy from BrightEyes. All of the 5 star reviews are legit. This company is doing it right, because they care about their products and their customers and they back it up with real quality service instead of false claims and cheap components. Buy this product and you will be satisfied that you did. I am proof. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent headlight. This thing is crazy bright. I love it. My only issue is with the battery pack. The package was already opened when I received it and the charging unit has an indicator light on it which seems to be malfunctioning. The light stays on a steady blinking green. No red light. I will have to contact the seller or manufacturer to get a replacement. The quality of the components and accessories are excellent for the price. Hopefully the customer support is just as good. I will update later.

Great illumination...its not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
This light is replacing a '9500' lumen Made in China one, which was under $30, and quite unimpressive with marginal lighting ability and poor mounting. Everything about this lamp exhudes quality. But its raison d'etre is can it light the path well enough. And it most certainly does. I use this in conjunction with a similar style light I bought 10+ years ago, which has I think around 1200 lumens. So between these two I have around 3000 'real' lumens which is about as bright and well illuminated as a car headlight. The path in front of me is well lit for maybe 15 meters-and it could be even more if I tilted the lamps up a bit. The oversize battery is a plus....even on full power I can manage a 2 hour ride with no loss of intensity. I think the battery is good for 4+hrs, but I am not! It DOES take a fairly long while to recharge after being used at full power for a couple hours.....I estimate around 4-6 hours to restore a full charge. Which is fine, because after a hard ride, you are not likely to set off again a couple hours later. I am very pleased with the purchase. Even though you can get higher specced lights for 1/2, or even 1/3 of the price, this greatly outperforms them.

Bright - questionable quality - overall decent for the cost
I road ride a bit more than the average cyclist and needed an above average light. I want something that can light up Michigan's pot-hole roads at night far enough out they can be dodged at 20-25 mph. It also needs to last a long time at that brightness because it gets dark before 5 PM here in the winter. After about 500 miles and a few issues - this light does the trick. It has three brightness setting and two flash modes. It throws a spot/flood beam combo so no problem with peripheral view on a road bike. My longest test of a full battery was an hour on low mode and two hours on high mode and it did great even during freezing temps. I actually had a couple cars flash their high beams at me to turn the light down which poses a problem. You can hit the button to get out of high mode but then it goes to the first flash mode which I'll assume is worse for the driver. Or you can hold the button down to turn it off or cover it with your hand but then YOU can't see at all which I think is worse. A better design would have put the brightest mode first so you can hit the button to turn it down then toggle through the modes after the car has passed to get back to the brightest mode. Now for some of the other problems I've had. After opening the well packaged device I was surprised how many extra things are included with the light. Take a look at all those accessories! Overkill IMO and I wish they would have put the cost of those into designing a better base product. For example I don't need the headstrap, the GoPro handlebar mount, the tightening tool or another taillight. I'd pay extra for those if I wanted them. So how could the product be better? I started off using that included GoPro bar mount but as I was tightening the screw the mount broke apart. I wasn't muscling it, I'm a mechanic and mechanical engineer by trade and I know how to tighten a screw. The mount is made from a glass filled plastic and it's very thin on one side. It pulled apart and easily cracked. Luckily my other flasher light mounts via a GoPro mount under the cycle computer which is pretty common now-a-days and I was able to use that BUT it hangs this light upside down. Undesirable for several reasons. First you can't see the battery indicator so there is no visual status on a long ride, you might be limited on how far you can tilt the light down because it's big and will contact the frame or bars and lastly I don't think the "waterproofing" was designed for upside-down. It started to rain on one ride and the light did fine. But the next time I went to use it I could only access the lowest beam - no other modes. I emailed BrightEyes using the given address on their website and was shocked at the speed and courtesy of the customer service. A reply within an hour (after business hours EST) and a replacement head unit was shipped that day. I have had no issues with the new head unit but I now mount it on top the bars which poses it's own problem. Since the extended GoPro arm mount broke I have to use the stubby mount with the rubber bands. I have flat bars so it needs to mount close to the stem where they are round. It's so bright the beam reflects off the cycle computer and it's like someone shining a small light back in your eyes. Back to upside-down mount and hope it doesn't rain. Lastly the battery has come loose inside it's mounting box. I mounted it to the top tube with a small towel wrapped around the frame to prevent scratches. If you shake the battery case you can hear it loose and rattling in there so not sure if that is stressing the wires - might not last long that way. So why 5 stars overall? I think I got what I paid for. $90 isn't really that much for a light this bright that lasts this long AND the customer service should get a 6 out of 5 stars.
