I love these newly designed Royal Clips. If you had the old Magic Clips they are very similar but easier to use. Just be sure to remove all the rubber bands keeping it in place. I missed one and it messed up my daughter’s ability to open them up. The princesses have a hinge on the side so you just pinch them and they open up so you can remove the doll. The tops are tighter so they can need to be loosened for removal and then pushed back into place when changed. My daughter is easily able to change their clothes and is having lots of fun with them. They feel much sturdier than the old Magic Clips which were a lot more delicate. The outfit can come apart but it’s easily fixed and once I showed my daughter she is able to do it if necessary. The skirt on top is a softer plastic with glitter that looks great. These are a lot of fun and she is playing with them constantly.

I typically don't write reviews but my granddaughter recently told me that I'm her favorite grandma. When I asked her why, she said because I have clip dolls. When my granddaughters (3 and 5) come to my house, they play with the clip dolls for hours. The dresses are interchangeable on all of the clip dolls which makes it fun to switch up their dresses. As I said, I typically don't write reviews but if the clip dolls make me the favorite grandma, that warrants a review.
