SocksLane Cotton Compression Socks for Women & Men. 15-20 mmHg Support Knee-High Brown S/M

I am 5'9", 150 lbs, and typically wear XL in various brands of compression socks. The thing I was searching for in BLACK compression socks was a thicker sock than the norm. The little extra thickness in the footbed makes a huge difference in the cushioning factor than the other kinds that are closer to thin like hoseiry, and fill in my shoes better. Before I found these, I was wearing thin black compression socks of other brands, and supplementing the foot thickness by putting black no-show footies on top. With these Sockslane I don't have to do that, and overall they are softer and nicer than the material of other compression socks, more like regular socks. I only need low compression, and these are perfect. Also, I wear a size 10 women's shoe, and the XL fits my foot just right (many are too short and cause foot cramps, or too tight and cut off foot circulation), they come up high enough to my knee, and at least as important as any other factor- the top band doesn't cut into my calf at the top as some do. In other words, they are perfect. Here to order my third pair.

These socks are cute and comfortable and work really well. I wear a size seven and a half shoe but I did order a large because I have had a small before and they can be a little tight on the foot.

Update: these socks were so comfortable, even while traveling 30+ hours due to flight delays. My legs never hurt; my feet never felt cold or sweaty. Strongly recommend these socks for travelers. --- I'm flying halfway around the world for a conference, and knew I ought to get compression socks for the plane. Was not thrilled with the idea of wearing hot synthetic socks for many hours, so was glad to see a cotton option. (These are 65% cotton, 15% stretch nylon, and 10% spandex--the latter has to be added to create the compression.) They feel cottony soft, and the small regular size fit me well (I wear a 7 or 7.5 shoe, normal calves.) I tried them on and they compress snugly without feeling uncomfortable in any way. Hand washed them and they were pretty much dry the next morning. The colorful stripes are fun--they basically look like normal cotton knee highs. I'd much rather pay more for one pair of great socks (vs several synthetic pairs), so I feel these are worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Excellent product. I cannot tolerate natural hair products (ie., wool, lambswool, etc) or synthetics. I was so pleased this all cotton support sock was available for use as I am suffering a common, but severe, leg injury that is creating severe inflammation and edema. Probably the most useful thing included in the listing for this particular sock was the video showing "how to put them on." It reiterated the method my Physical Therapist and Chiropractor both showed me -- so I felt like a pro immediately and -- on a more serious note -- did NOT HAVE TO RETURN THESE SOCKS because they were too tight to even wear them. Using the correct method was straightforward and allowed me to see that the socks fitted beautifully. The cotton material is simply a plus -- cool and comfy enough to wear all day -- and at least one night so far...

As a senior citizen with several serious medical issues, I knew how important it is to keep my ankles from swelling. After spying these colorful and fun new types of compression socks on Amazon, I ordered two pair, one in dark blue and one in grey, for a recent cruise to Norway and Scotland. Usually I only wear compression stockings for the airplane flights, but this itinerary included the possibility of cooler, windy and rainy weather from Oslo up to the Arctic circle and over to the Faroe and Orkney Islands, so this time I opted to choose these knee-high compression socks for the added warmth. I am so glad that I did! These socks are simply amazing and got worn nearly every day, keeping my feet toasty warm and happy. They were easy to put on and nearly as easy to remove, and I never once noticed any ankle swelling. If I didn't live in Florida for half of the year, I would happily order several other colors and patterns in these terrific compression socks, although there will be a few very cool days in December and January, even in Sarasota. They are a nice thickness, but not too much to be hot or to make my shoes too tight, but just thick enough to be snug and very comfortable...and they are very affordable, as well!. Yes, I love these socks!

Socks in this brand look nice. Not made in US & much synthetic. Harder than other brands to put on.. Ok for comfort., a bit tighter than others.

Having never worn compression socks before, I ordered 2 brands to try and SocksLane came out tops in every way. I was worried that I would find them uncomfortable but no, they're comfortable, breathable, give excellent compression and have a lovely supportive sole. The toes and heels are reinforced and they feel as if they will last a long time. A nice choice ofcolours/patterns as well. After just two days of wearing, I have already noticed a huge difference in my legs - they feel lighter, slimmer and less painful. I have ordered another pair and provided they wash well, will be getting more.

Liked the pair that are extra wide. Having the cotton content makes them more comfortable to wear. The pair that was not extra wide is difficult to get on, so if your calf measurement is borderline, go for the next size up.

There was no tiredness very pleased with these
