Herschel Odell Messenger Bag

Another great Herschel product. I know own two bags and couldn’t be more pleased. Well made and stylish. This bag is perfect for everything I need to get to the office but not overly bulky. I’m glad I went with the camo too!

Get the bag. It looks good and you can fit everything in here. If you can't fit it in this bag, you probably don't need it!

Just recently started to use this bag and while overall I love the bag itself, the straps are already starting to rip away. One side is almost completely pulled out of the stitching. I do not carry anything heavy, it’s just poorly designed. Disappointed and will not purchase a Hershel’s product again.

Nice heavy duty back strong material

The bag is very spacious and nice overall, I just am disappointed in the manufacturing quality of the item as the strap stitching on the side of the bag came loose within 2 weeks of light use.

I had purchased this item in hopes of getting a stylish update to my current work messenger bag. Herschel is a great brand and they always include little details that make their items fun, like the pinstripe liner.In this case, the Odell satchel is clearly more appropriate for a short trip day bag (clothes, essentials) than a work messenger bag, which is what I was hoping to use it for.The size is great, fits a lot of stuff in a strong and secure interior without making the bag itself heavy. It's nice that it isn't super tight around a portfolio, which is a problem I have with my current messenger bag.The style is awesome, I was excited to have a camo pattern with the red and blue zipper cover.The failure is in the interior storage, or lack thereof. There are no small dividers that you typically find for messenger or workplace bags- no pocket for the cell phone, no slide spaces for pens and pencils, not a place to put that much-needed pack of gum. There is simply one small zipper pouch hanging on the interior of the bag for you to put small items in. Other than that, it is a very strong and stylish grocery bag.I like that it does not have a separate padded section for a laptop (which a lot of bags have now- who carts their laptops around everywhere?), but there is no interior divider at all.Like I said, I was excited for this one- it looked much cooler than the other messengers that Herschel is currently selling, but I want any potential buyers to be aware of what this item actually is.

Looks great and can carry a lot but strap broke after only 2 weeks of use. Amazon did replace the bag, however.

My daughter took her bag to school for two days. The fabric is very low quality. the sholder strap broke. we are very unhappy about this product!
