Health from zero to hero.
I'm on my second pack of this. I lost weight slowly as have chronic fatigue. Got a little worried as was so thin. Started to drink this once a day. One serving is half the protein I needed. You need one gram of protein for every 1kg of your body weight per day. So one glass of this is half my daily requirement. Porridge for breakfast is about 10grams of protein, you can buy protein yoghurt now at 20grams a serving. So when you don't feel like eating then you can still reach your maintenance requirements with this drink, porridge and yoghurt. It took about six weeks to see anything. And omg does it work. Muscle memory is real and mine have started to fill out. My weight has roughly maintained but my physical reflection in the mirror, well I look like a runner again haha. Muscley legs and lumpy arms, it's only starting but is definitely there. Please try this as it does develop muscle. Your body needs that meat on its bones in order to produce and store other things such as iodine. It tastes like chocolate milkshake but not too sweet. Mix well with a fork and get those lumps out. makes a silky smooth drink. Not offensive in any way. No aroma that I noticed. The cost is irrelevant for your health, it hasn't upset my system. If I feel tired after food then this literally brightens me up.

Probably the most honest review here.
Okay so to begin, a little about me, I'm not vegan, I do enjoy some plant based products but I do eat meat, I've tried different brands of whey protein in the past and there were some nice ones and some horrible ones that made me want to vomit, I feel like my review might be the most honest as I am not vegan but I am transitioning and this is the first time I've ever tried a plant based alternative to protein powder, with that I shall get into my review. I think the best way to rate this would be 0 = Horrible and 10 = Delicious Smell: the smell is not appealing, then again I've never found a protein powder that could appeal to my nose. My Rating: 5 - it honestly isn't bad but not good either. Taste: I measured exactly 36g of "Optimum Nutrition ON Gold Standard" and 300ml of cold water, then mixed it in my ninja blender for 20 seconds (this is all based on the instruction). The taste while not appealing, isn't as bad as many of the reviews lead me to believe, don't mistake this for one of those "yum it's so delicious" reviews because it isn't delicious either. My Rating 4 - 4.5 I feel like if I used something other than water, like added it to a recipe or to a breakfast (this + rice milk, oats, peanut butter) then it would be okay because the taste is mild. Texture: There is a grainy texture to it that I'm not a fan off (I've also had whey protein that had the same grainy texture). Would I buy it again?? at this point in time, no, but I only got it today and I wanted to write a review while my thoughts were fresh in my mind. I will probably update this after I've experimented. Something else I just wanted to add, during my reading of the reviews, someone complained about getting a measuring spoon with it, but when I went to purchase this product I had the option to include the spoon or not for no extra cost.

High-Quality Protein Powder- Helping both Health and Performance
⭐ Rating: 5/5 Effectiveness: Taken 3x weekly (2x post-training and 1x post-competition). Helped build noticeable lean muscle – contributed to athletic performance (notably improving 800m PB time). Excellent supplement for those with an active lifestyle or athletic goals. Taste & Versatility: Pleasant flavor – enjoyed by both the reviewer and their family. Works well in milkshakes and baking. Might be a little sweet for some, but not for me. Mixability: No issues– mixes well with both a shaker and blender, contrary to what other reviewers have stated Recommendation: I would also recommend Creatine Monohydrate from the same brand also as helped boost energy and performance. It is scientifically tested and is a naturally occurring compound- helps water retention in muscles. Brand & Value: Optimum Nutrition (ON) lives up to its reputation. At around £24 per tub, offers good value for consistent quality. Overall: A top-tier protein powder that supports muscle growth, tastes good, and is versatile in use. Highly recommended for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Undrinkable
Gross. Grainy. Too thick. Tastes like cardboard. As someone who is used to the Whey version - this vegan option is terrible. I’ve thrown it out after one use.

Very Nice!
I mix with semi skimmed cows milk in a small blender, some times I add ice cubes & sometimes i also add some black coffee for added punch! - it always tastes good to me. I want to try mixing in some oats next…

It'll do for now
The pros of this are a complete amino acid profile, it's easy to digest, and it mixes well with water or milks, including plant based ones. My favourite recipe is this with oats, milk, a banana, and peanut butter. You can have this three times a day, maybe even more, without digestive or other issues. The best flavour is definitely vanilla. Recent recipe changes left the chocolate flavour tasting absolutely awful. The vanilla isn't fantastic but it is palatable, and it doesn't hurt to add some cinnamon or other flavours to make it better. The price has increased by nearly 50% and the product has stayed the same. If you are having three Shakes a day each pack runs out in a week. Gets quite expensive and the recent price hike only makes this worse. Until a better alternative comes along I may stick with this one

Experiment a bit
So, first off I’ll have to admit that I haven’t really had any other plant based protein powders to compare this to, I’m coming straight from a more typical whey protein, but figured I would try something new here. When I made it up as per the instructions on the packaging (1 scoop per 300ml of water) I found that it was way too thick and grainy for me personally. When I watered it down more to about 1 scoop per 500ml it was a lot more palatable. Still not the most tasty protein shake I’ve had, and I’m not a fan of the aftertaste, but I’m willing to make some sacrifices on that front. I can see it working well in other applications like smoothie bowls etc where you’re looking for something thick, otherwise I would suggest adding more liquid than you would for other protein powders. It’s a good product and if you experiment a bit you can make it work for you, but the instructions on the packaging do not make a tasty shake.
