OXO Good Grips Pepper Mill

Over the years I have tried a few different pepper grinders because I just love the taste and aroma of freshly ground pepper, however all have failed to impress in one way or another ,... well up untill I tried this Oxo one that is. I wish that I had found this one a long time ago as it does just what it says on the tin, grinds pepper, and does it very well, time after time. The little cap on the bottom is a bit of a pain but it is there to stop the residue from leaving a mess of your worktop like all the others so with this in mind it does its job well and I can put up with this one little foible. Would I recommend it? Oh yes, without doubt, I am a big fan of the very well designed Oxo range od kitchenalia.

Best pepper mill for any similar price that I have ever owned. Been using it for four years and it is like new. Fills simply without fuss, very easy indeed to grind out some pepper.

This does the job very easy but being so small, its hard to grip too tight as the little 'door' keeps opening. Saying that, its very well made.

I've tried a few, including a rather disappointing one-handed mill. This is the first that gives the impression that someone actually spent some thought about how to design a better pepper mill. It's easy to fill, easy to use, and grinds plenty of pepper with little effort. The bottom lid keeps pepper from sprinkling wherever you put it to rest. The case is very sturdy and the grinder is adjustable and works very well (no jamming or jarring).

We go away self catering and needed a pepper mill. Easy to fill and use and I like the little tray, it stops the pepper bits going everywhere! Would recommend

Honestly this is simply the best pepper mill I have ever used. You can crank out loads of pepper, which is really useful for when you're trying to add a teaspoon or more to a large dish. It's comfortable to operate and doesn't tire your arms out.

Not the quality expected of Oxo Grips. This is relatively light weight plastic and not robust or a pleasure to use or have on display...unlike the other Oxo Grip dispensers we have. Works OK.

This pepper mill is so easy to use as I suffer with arthritis in my hands and found it really difficult to use a normal pepper mill. This is very well made and the cap on the bottom stops bits on the work top. Would recommend this product.

Bought this a few years ago for black pepper. Still work well. So got another one for white pepper

VERY VERY Pricey, considering it is a manual grinder. But is does what it says. ALL pepper grinders can grind pepper, even the dirt cheap ones. But even though most of them have fineness control, they fail to make the grinds uniform and the result is coarse grinding. The OXO grinds uniformly. And its coarseness-fineness control really works to your desire. That is what makes it different. If you are not very fussy, any grinder will do. If you are, give OXO a try. Mine shipped directly from NewYork.

The price which I paid for this average product was too much. The product is poor.
