Filmtools Lens Cleaning Essentials Kit

This kit is on the pricey side but these are tried and true quality products. This lost a review star because the cleaner product bottle I received does not match the product photos. The photos show a pump spray nozzle that can be rotated to lock the pump from use. In past years when I purchase this same brand/size cleaner it comes as shown. The pump nozzle that arrived in this kit is a basic type that cannot be locked by twisting. It only has a clear separate cap to protect against accidental pumping and cleaner discharge. If the cap breaks or is lost the pump could spray accidentally in a bag/case during transporting.

This was recommended by Joel Edelman, a famous photographer and I must say, it is a close to a perfect product. All the components are easy to use and there are plenty of product material to last probably a whole year, but maybe more depending on how dirty you get your lenses. All I know is that the product is absolutely fantastic. Not very glamorous or spectacular to buy as a nice lens, but an extreme important product to have because you need to maintain your lenses properly and safely. No more wiping your lenses with a napkin used to blow your nose or with a cashmere sweater.
