Why did I receive dented cans? Both badly dented packaging looked okay? I didn't pay for dented cans!

I know how you feel there but the dents don't hurt the qualities of the product. If dents are a major concern get with who ever you bought it from and let them know how you feel and most of the time they will swing you a good deal on your next purchase.

Is this Petroleum based?

From what I know, it is not. My understanding is that it is grain-based. It doesn't have any characteristics of being petroleum-based. I have used it for years and I like the results. It is very easy on the skin, almost pleasant.

Is this safe to use on paint? Ive got tar and or asphalt on my truck. Thank you!

I have used it on everything. I use in on my car and the paint on my plastic and it works fine for me. I do not leave it on fo to long. May want to mix per the instructions. I do dilute it for certain items.
