American Mahjong with Black Soft Carry Bag

My wife and her friends love this set. Tiles are very nice. Good price for a decent quality set. They get used twice a week here and at others homes. Travel bag included.

Quality of the materials makes this a great starter set. Contains everything needed.

This is an adequate mah-jongg, set for beginners or others as well. The tiles are a good size and the set contains everything except the mat. You should play on which can be acquired easily. The plastic racks are not terribly sturdy, mine arrived, cracked, but the vendor was very quick to replace them as soon as he found out. I would strongly recommend purchasing a wooden set to be used with with this game as it is a little more dependable. The dice are also a little bit tiny but adequate. This would be good as a second set to leave at a cottage or a second home. It comes with a little instruction book. Good value for the price. The carry All bag is also very useful and you will probably want some kind of bag inside the bag to keep all the tiles together when not in use.

Beautiful set. The outside quilted bag is very pretty and nicely padded. The tiles are engraved and then painted. They include 2 different set types of Flowers so you can choose which set to use. 8 Flowers with the people OR the 8 Flowers printed with the 4 seasons and flowers. The racks look like nice heavy plastic . I really like this set. The set come with a small booklet called How to Play Mah-Jongg . Nice but it needs to be updated and reviewed. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors in the booklet. When describing the Charleston-they spell the word LEFT incorrectly-They write LEFE. Then the actual directions are incorrect in the second pass of the Charleston. The directions say pass to the left but the arrows/sketch shows the passes to the right. PAGE 10. There are other typos in the booklet and so in my opinion it could use an updated typeset of the booklet and a bigger different font as well. There may be some other errors but since I am new to this game I would not know! In any case this does not keep me from buying or recommending this set.
