This product is listed as BPA-free. It is not. It is stated clearly in the description that the lid is BPA-free, however when it arrived there is a sticker on the package the indicated it is not BPA-free. After reading reviews and answered questions it seems that this product was BPA-free at one time but is no longer. Shame on you Rubber Maid for not changing the product description. I will never buy any of their products again.

We're using as litter box for our male Siberian cat. Highly recommend as litter box.

Great product that most people are familiar with. Beware that the Amazon's photo for this product (FG330400 CLR) is wrong. Amazon is showing the other, very shallow 5 gallon container (26" x 18" x 3.5", FG330600 CLR). One other reviewer gave this product a low rating because she was expecting what is shown in the picture and did not receive it. However, Amazon is shipping the correct product (5 gallon FG330400 CLR, 18" x 12" x 9"), even though the picture is wrong. If you want to check the correct product numbers go to Rubbermaid commercial and search for food/tote box. All the correct part numbers and measurements are there.

The 12" x 18" dimensions listed are for the OUTSIDE of this product. The actual USEABLE internal dimensions are approximately 10" x 16". Very disappointed. Returned.

This is the perfect size and shape for a great litter box. The interior is smooth, and the corners are more squared, so the litter scoop fits into them nicely. It's smooth surface also helps wet litter/solids to release easily, so cleanup is a snap. The little ridges on the bottom help keep it up as well, so it doesn't scrape through litter when moved. The seller should include "extra large litter box" in their tag, so more people can find this! 5 stars!

I wanted the white bin with a clear lid. The specs for each FG350900WHT 3.5 Gal wht & FG331000CLR Lid for 2, 3.5, 5 G sizes - fits 18" x 12" rubbermaid totes indicate that the lid should fit the bin. Everything arrived in good condition, but as you can see in the pictures the lip for the lid that is supposed to snap inside the bin is too wide. I even tried pulling on the outside of the bin to try to get it to fit. Neither side has enough give to correct for the out of spec conditions. I'm not sure which is really the problem, but the label on the lid looks like this is a "replacement" lid for the one I ordered. Not sure it this is the source of the problem. I really need a lid that fits for my application, so ... looks like they both have to go back.

using for bulk fermentation of bread dough. guessing it will easily hold 8 pounds of dough with room to rise. very slippery finish, perfect for dough. doesn’t stick at all, don’t even need to oil it. it’s plastic, so just be careful with tools in it if you want the super smooth to last. fits almost perfectly in the brod and taylor proofer box.

Arrived dirty but have cleaned up ok

I purchased this item like many others have, as a container for use with a sous vide machine. It fulfils this purpose well and functions as expected of a box you can fill with water.

So here goes a proper review and info for this item to answers I had that some of you might be asking yourselves. As you can see in my picture, I purchased what the title description gave as model 3306CLE with 3 1/2 inch height which is clearly not the given product. The color option says white which is not that either. And the product sold does not match the picture. The description is more accurate. This is model 3304CLR meaning this item is CLEAR and not white despite what the option says. It is also around 9 inches in height and can fill about 5 gallons or 18 liters. This goes perfectly with the 33100CLR cover. It is made of polycarbonate and can withstand temps of up to 212 degrees farenheit. An important info for those looking to use it for sous-vide such as myself. If the info was not mixed-up, I would have bought 2 right away. As another review stated, all you need to do is drill a hole in the cover to accomodate your Anova or Joule.

I ordered this sometime back, it arrived without a lid (as promised in the description). I sent it back for replacement and the new one came today, again without a lid. However because I really need this now, I am keeping it and will improvise a lid with Saran or foil. I am beginning to think there are no lids for these and the description of the product is what is inaccurate.

Perfect size for my Anova sous vide, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to properly install the sous vide over the outter lip, but it does fit and work with no mods required.My only complaint is that the images and the product description don't make it clear that this item comes without a lid. The description talks about the tight clip on lid and the images show it with a lid.. but not lid.
