Why did you pick this product vs others?: Dealer tech used power gun and tore up stud threads. I needed an economical solution to restore threads on the wheel studs. This may be a one time use tool. Ease of installation: Worked like it is supposed to. Value for money: Reasonable and got the job done. Size: Fit my Mazda and should fit most other vehicles. Build quality: Sufficient Ease of use: Not difficult. Note that the dies are split, so you can start on good thread and work toward damaged thread. Fit: Fit was as it is suppose to be.

Works good and reasonable priced

Label says 9 pcs but it's only 8 pcs. I think it's because they meant to include another size thread chaser but never did. Besides that it works well.

Cheap set but does exactly what you need.

Worked amazing! Used it to fix wheel studs on my truck and worked like a dream. If threads on studs are completely flat not sure this would work but if they are just a little burgered up this tool works amazing to straighten them back up so you don’t destroy your lug nuts or cross thread them!

Works ok

I bought this to fix two lug bolts that became stripped on one of the wheels of my work van. The threading die is a two piece die that fits together inside of a socket leeve. It did not work, not even close. I’m not saying this tool is bad. I very well could have used it wrong. I do not know. I did buy another threading die, a one-piece. Compared to this one it was successful.
