Alps Bar

I've tried a few products out there before I ended my search with this one. This product actually delivers on its promises. I love the story behind the product and that the product actually works. Won't let you down. Recommended 100%, despite being pricier than a lot of skin care products out there. There are comparable and better known products in price, like Dr. Squatch, but I would prefer to pay the dollar or two dollar difference for this one. The rest of products will always leave my skin feeling dry and are very scented. This has a mild, but nice scent that won't bother anyone.

Doesn’t feel like it leaves a residue behind. Has a nice mild scent and lasts for a decent number of uses. Don’t quite understand the large seeds(?), though, within the bars. Some are large enough to leave scrape marks if not careful. Would be a better product without them.

Undeniably one of the best smelling soaps I’ve ever used. I was using the charcoal bar, but decided to give this one a try and I don’t think I’ll go back. One precaution, if you use bar to body I would lather the bar with hands first to ensure the juniper berry in the bar is smoothed down or you may wind up with scratching rather than buffering.

The thing I like about this soap is that it has a fine, subtle grittiness and not an aggressive grit. It smells pretty good. I wish it cost a few bucks less or they offered it in a two-pack.

Not one to ever write any review at all. With that statement, I just got this bar of soap in the mail and was feeling super excited to try this soap out based off reviews. Just came out the shower and this soap lathers up nicely. I tried using my loofah and it lathered that up quick. Realizing it’s not a good idea to use it on that, so I then use the bar itself, it still lathered up nicely. Can feel the exfoliating balls on the soap that isn’t like sandpaper. Now when it comes to the smell of this soap. In its own wrapper, smells nice but having to put my nose on the actual wrapper. But once in the shower, still smells nice but after the shower, I smelled myself (arms) and I smell nothing. I was actually sad about that, honestly! I read that this soap smells good all day long. But not mines, I smell nothing at all. Maybe I got a “defective” soap on the smelling department. I don’t know, but I’m one that I want that strong smell of soap on me and this failed me. I rated this 3 because of the smell after the shower was nonexistent. I need to find another one that hopefully can deliver on the smelling department. P.S. I’m one who wants to smell good all day long, I’m one to hate any body odor or funky smells.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Smells great, truly exfoliates, and is affordable! Be careful when using this because it will dry the skin (of course exfoliating) so make sure to moisturize after! Haven’t felt true oil free skin in a while, so will definitely be purchasing in the future

An exfoliating soap that actually works after more than one use?! We have found that mythical soap here, leaving your skin soft & smooth and with a great scent.
