I recently purchased the Wilkinson Sword Classic Shaving Brush, and I must say it has completely transformed my shaving routine! From the moment I started using this brush, I noticed a remarkable improvement in the quality of my shave. The first thing that struck me was the luxurious feel of the bristles. Soft and fluffy loads of lather, perfect.

This classic shaving brush from Wilkinson Sword is a solid option for anyone getting into traditional wet shaving. The bristles are soft enough not to irritate the skin but firm enough to build a decent lather with creams or soaps. The handle is lightweight and easy to grip. It is easy to use. The only downside is that it does shed a few bristles, especially early on. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it could be improved. Good brush makes shaving easy

This is a great brush with a very ergonomic handle which feels great in the palm of my hand. I have no complaints at all. Others have moaned about loose or dropped bristles. This is inevitable in the beginning with any type of brush. My advise would be to pull at the bristles very hard before first use to remove any strays or loose ones. Just like you would with a new paint brush. I’ve never had an issue since with dropped bristles. Lathers up my shaving cream very well and applies it nicely to my face and neck. The bristles are soft yet firm enough to work the foam into my hair. I even use it with non foaming shaving gel to work it into the hair when I’m maintaining my bear rather than clean shaving. It’s a perfectly capable and well made shaving brush with a value for money price tag.

This isn’t a bad brush for someone who is just starting to get used to one. It’s very reasonably priced and nice enough, but the bristles aren’t great and don’t hold a candle to my old Omega.

I have toyed with different forms of shaving products for many decades now: gels, mousses, canned foam, sticks, creams, even oil. Whenever I have used the sticks in the past, I have used a shaving brush – which always happened to be a Wilkinson one. After some years of using a cream product, I started using a shave bowl and a new brush (not Wilkinson). The brush pretty quickly started shedding hairs and was unusable. I decided to buy myself a “posh” brush to replace it - £12 from Amazon. I found that the foam was always cold, so I tried 1) a new, metal bowl (£8) that I could heat up in the basin before shaving, 2) which I replaced with a stone one (£12). I tried tinkering with the amount of water in the brush before whipping the lather – all manner of aggravation. Finally, the “posh” brush started shedding and I replaced it with a “cheap” Wilkinson one. ALL OF MY PROBLEMS WERE SOLVED IN ONE SWOOP! I have no idea how it does it, but by some alchemy this brush somehow makes the lather warmer than the “posh” one - and it does it whilst producing lather quicker and easier than the old one as well. Moreover, it has so far failed to shed any hairs at all – presumably because the “hairs” are, in fact artificial fibres rather than natural, similar to the way that paint brushes no longer shed hairs when they are new, since the fibres are more consistent in thickness and length. Do yourself a favour and buy this brush rather than anything that "looks" nice and is actually rubbish!

Sehr gut verpackt und sehr schnell versendet. Produkt wie beschrieben. Warum man immer so viel Plastik als Verpackung verwenden muss?! Hatte vorher keinen synthetischen Pinsel, sondern einen mit Dachshaar, der vorbereitet werden musste. Dieser ist sofort einsatzbereit und verträgt auch besser heißes Wasser. Schaum lässt sich auch in kleinen Rasierschalen prima aufschlagen. Fühlt sich weich auf der Haut an. Lässt sich prima pflegen (auswaschen, ausschlagen, reinigen). Bisher keine Haarverluste, zumindest sehe ich nie welche. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Le blaireau Wilkinson Swift est une très bonne surprise. Les fines soies sont douces sur la peau toute en ayant assez de ressort pour bien monter la mousse. La prise en main est agréable grâce à son manche ergonomique, et le blaireau sèche relativement vite après utilisation. Pour un usage quotidien ou pour s'initier au rasage traditionnel, c'est un excellent choix. La qualité est au rendez-vous, surtout pour ce prix. À noter : au début, il peut prendre quelques poils, ce qui est normal pour un blaireau neuf, mais cela se stabilise rapidement. En résumer bon rapport qualité prix, idéal pour accompagner un savon ou une crème à raser classique.

Ottimo pennello a un prezzo imbattibile. Bisogna prenderci un po' la mano all'inizio, rispetto ai pennelli in setola naturale va bagnato meno altrimenti schiuma male e fa schizzi ovunque. Una volta trovata la giusta routine si rivela eccellente, monta molto bene direttamente in viso ed è di una dimensione che trovo ottima per me, cioè non troppo grande. Asciuga in fretta, non perde setole, è inodore. Lo uso in abbinamento con il sapone Proraso bianco e al momento non lo cambierei con nient'altro al mondo.
