Bought 3 of these for the bedrooms in my 1926 home we are renovating and living in. I wanted a style that blended modern, original design period and original features of the home. Purchased last summer but just had them installed earlier this spring. The upstairs ceiling is low and the old basic ceiling fans hung to low, but liked the idea of fans because it's much warmer upstairs. They look great. No more strings hitting my head and someove over 6' would have bumped their head on the bulbs of the old fan. Looks just like pictures. Its very quiet. Hoping the bulb last long as I have no clue how to change it haha. The fan is a thin plastic and unit is much more affordable than others I seen in store. But even with the plastic blades it still looks classy especially when it's on. I had someone install them for me but he said it was easy. He didn't give me the book as he said the remote was self explanatory, so im still testing features. We leave the remotes in the holders so they don't get lost or damaged, and he placed them next to the light switch. The light switch turns the units on and off, then we use the buttons for controlling features. Features are great at the price also. I absolutely love the day and night button. I usually leave it on night but it's nice to have brighter when needed as well as adjusting hue. This made it more versatile for each of our own preferences on lighting without having different fixtures. I wish the ceiling fan light I chose for the living room had the same features. The living room has a bigger fan and sconces to fit the space and look looks sturdier and priced way higher. However we frequently complain about that fixture. Its features are very basic, the remote only dims the light, 3 fan speeds, and on high the light is still not very bright. Expensive isnt always better. I definitely recommend these lights.

We bought an older farm home that was littered with old school wicker bladed ceiling fans YUCK! First move, upgrade. But ceiling fans can be EXPENSIVE! Then I cam across this "style" of fan. "Brilliant!" I thoughy, "It's the ceiling fan version of the PC fans I've been installing for 30 years. NAFTA finally paid off!" I was sorely mistaken.To make a long story short, I went through 3 defective ones from different brands, got griefed by Amazon over the receipt of one of them I returned complete with the missing parts I didnt receive in the first place, one had a broken off power supply, the other a dead motor, and the third a wobbly fan blade with grinding noise. All evident from first use or minutes thereafter. What garbage I thought.Because Im a glutten for punishment, I thought I'd try again. I REALLY wanted something compact and quiet. So I purchased this one. Actually this one x 2 for both bedrooms. It was if a light shined down from the heavens! IT WORKED!!! Light is super bright yet dimmable, fan is super quiet yet powerful for its size. Would I mount it in a cathedral and expect it to cool on a 109F day like most reviewers here? no. But for a modestly sized bedroom its fine.OH! If you're looking for a fan of this type that DOES NOT stay illuminated in the middle of the night while running the fan when you're trying to sleep, THIS is your fan! Light turns completely off while fan is running. Make sure you get THIS brand, VOLISUN. Because although they may all look the same, I assure you, they ARE NOT!

This fan is so, so nice! It only hangs a few inches down from the ceiling. It has a remote which makes it convenient. The power levels and color levels work well just give them a second or two when changing gears. It is well made. And it is very nice to look at. I think it is worth the money!

Installation: had Handyman do it he didn't have any problems and it's also connected to your light switch. Airflow from the fan is excellent. It goes from levels 1 to 6 and I have only needed to have it on level one or two. I do not have high or voltage ceilings. The adjustability of the lights goes from the push above button for night dimming to super bright LED. I'm going to buy another one.

Great light and phenominal fan. It's really pretty. Ever since we put it up, anyone who visits always brings it up and asks about it. The 1st setting of the fan is pretty powerful; however, we have a small kitchen/dining area. I also like the remote- it's pretty good quality and doesn't feel cheap. The light settings have a wide range of brightness. My husband is white-light sensitive, and the lowest setting does not hurt his eyes, but is still a good amount of light. The fan is not very noisy either, which is great for our small house. And the install was pretty easy in our opinion. They gave you a tool to help you in case you are working on the install alone. I still recommend using two people to assemble though. Safety first ;)
