Hat Stretcher- Colourful Adjustable Heavy Duty-Easy to Use-Hat Stretchers for Fedora Cowboy Hat Jack

I had read several reviews from other users and was nearly put off by comments about the difficulty to fit the unit. Having thought about it I decided to buy. Fitting was easy! I kept the stretcher flat on a table and increased the size until it looked like a close fit to the hat. I then inserted it and tightened just enough for it to stay in place. The size was measured along the stretcher as a guide. I then steamed all around the hat band using a kettle with the lid open. Care was taken not to get scalded! I managed to turn the adjuster by hand so that the length increased by 2 cm. The hat was then left overnight. The following morning I removed the stretcher and a previously very tight hat was now the correct size and comfortable. I can't fault the unit - it does what it is supposed to do. With a little common sense, patience and care, there are no problems and an excellent result.

When it arrived I was expecting that all 3 of the coloured middle bars would be with the item as it displayed on the website via the photos. Unfortunately it only comes with one bar which I found a little miss leading. The item is good quality and works well so really it’s just a shame about the advert

Well made and practical! Does the job it was designed for well. Anyone who likes good quality hats should buy one, so you can attain the perfect fit...... well worth it !

Easy to use and worked well but you need to put it in to your hat and expand it and then measure the circumference to be sure you get the size of hat that you need. There are no number markings/measurements on the stretcher itself.

This only came with one size but works very well. Nice feel to the wood too. An ideal solution and has worked well with leather and swede hats.

This is a nice hat stretcher, nicer than the one I used to have. Nicely smoothed and shaped wood. It has a very slight taper, in other words it isn't absutely vertical at either end, like your head tends not to be. The bottle screw feels good quality and has a nice smooth action. Very pleased with it. If you want a hat stretcher this is a nice one.

Works well pleased with results I wasn't sure whether my hats had shrunk, or my head had got bigger. After using this carefully all hats now fit.

Lo empecé a utilizar en un sombrero de copa que compre por aqui hace ya tiempo y que no me probé en su día, con lo cual después de cometer por mi parte ese error, comprobé después que a pesar de ser mi talla no lo aguantaba ni un minuto puesto ya que me apretaba muchísimo, estoy utilizando el ensanchador y en seco, y he ido probando y se nota bastante, dejare el sombrero en el ensanchador el tiempo que haga falta
