The ONLY tool for removing frozen hydraulic cylinder pins
I bought this to remove a frozen pin on a log loader boom. It worked absolutely perfect!! I've never used one of these before, but I really didn't have any problem getting it to work. A word of caution, If you're going to use one of these, you'll need to wear a lot of protective gear. A lot of molten metal flying back at you if you're piercing a hole in a pin.

God of pin removal.
Our company purchased the kit about 6 months ago after a recommendation from a boom inspector/ welser recommended one for 4 pins, 80mm diameter by 200 mm in length. I and another employee had tried a 50 ton hollow jack, heat, air hammer, sledge and the last a prayer with non denominational curse words that would make Satan rethink his man hood. It arrived, tested it on a scrap 60mmx 100mm pin and it went through it like arrow through jello. Next, a scrap ford 6.0. Six seconds and into the crank through the block. The pins that were seized, taking my time, about 2 minutes making sure to not damage the boom and cylinder I was in. Quick tip. Keep plenty of oxygen and don't try to squeeze every pound out a bottle, which I would recommend at least 2 for a small job. Less volume and pressure, longer it will take and rods go pretty quick. Metals, ferrous, non ferrous, concrete, cats or an annoying coworker. It'll go through them faster than Hellen Keller at a braille competition or waaaater.
