Awesome blender. I have been through 3 blenders . which were pretty much used for shakes and smoothies.I finally decided to upgrade to this quality blender and I am so glad I did. This has a very sturdy base which does not shift while blending. The carafe locks into place with ease and does not shift at all while blending either. The lid also locks into place and does not move while blending or pouring so there is no need to hold the top of the blender while it is going. The carafe holds a ton of stuff as well so fewer batches are needed when pureeing large recipes such as soup. The blades are super sharp and slide into place quickly and easily. They are not mounted to the bottom (similar to a food processor blade) so it is easiest to keep the lid on and pour through the pour hole on the corner and then remove the lid and blade unit for washing afterwards. Contrary to other reviews it does not "pop out" for no reason. It does, however, fall out if you hold the unit upside down with the lid off (due to gravity). This is incredibly powerful as well. I very rarely need to process anything for more than 30 seconds no matter what it is. I puree soups and make smoothies and milkshakes all in under thirty seconds of blending. Ice simply gets eaten up and there are no large chunks as I've found with other brands and models. I also use this to puree food scraps for my worm composting unit and it fully purees a full carafe of eggplant peels, pepper insides, and celery ends (along with some water) into a V8 consistency in thirty seconds.I absolutely love this blender.

This is absolutely terrible! Used it once to make smoothies and it has stopped working! I need to return this as we should have one year’s warrantee but apparently the return window was on 21 March which was 4 weeks after I had ORDERED NOT RECEIVED IT!!! I’m absolutely disgusted that this cost me £60 and I want to get this returned- it is such a faulty and bad product- Amazon shouldn’t even be part of selling this awful machine!

Stylish, powerful, compact. Using ot to make smoothies, shakes and dosa/idli batter.Batter a bit coarse not very fine but good enough for blender/mixer.

I am delighted with this blender. I bought it to replace a Lidl blender which I had thought was pretty decent but I was fed up of having to seive smoothies to take out berry seeds/skin etc and there were always small lumps of fruit left even after several minutes of blending. I have just used the Homtiky blender to make a raspberry, stawberry and cherry smoothie, using only frozen fruit and some water. I pressed the smoothie button twice (waiting for 10 secs in between uses) and after two minutes of blending there is no trace of pips or skin and the blended liquid is like a smoothie you buy in the supermarket, with only a little foam on top. (My last blender created about 1/2 a jug of foam on top of whatever was being blended). The appliance itself is very high quality. Everything feels heavy and sturdy. The blades for the glass jug come out of the plastic housing to wash, which I really like because that way I know I'll be able to clean it thoroughly. The glass just itself is very heavy and the lid fits snugly onto it. You do have to fasten the blade assembly very tightly onto the glass jug for the blender to work which might not be easy for someone with arthritis or painful hands. I haven't used the stainless steel jug yet, but it is very well made and looks like the same high quality as the other parts. This blender is very good value for money. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it!

I bought this blender for my new university accommodation as I have always loved a good breakfast smoothie. I have to say first that this is extraordinary and the quality is unrivalled. I use this to blend all kinds of smoothies together involving some of the tought vegetables of sweet potato as I find it easier to create sweet potato mash using the blender. The power is great, thhe range of settings is also impressive, and on the whole this is just a great value for money item. At home, I had a nutribullet, but this is easily as good as it has a significantly larger capacity and even more power. Great product.

The lock on the smaller jug broke after couple of months. This one now cannot be used. Blender itself is ok. I found that the nutri bullet blends much better.

I used the grinder attachment today, not to grind anything hard, just to combine bacon and mince. I don't have a food processor and didn't want to mess up the main large jug. After a short time the machine started smoking! The smell of electric items about to catch fire is rancid .. it stinks in here! I am gutted. It wasn't a cheap machine and I have only ever used to jug section before to make soups and sauces. Not good.

I liked this a lot. After looking for several blenders, I found this and decided to buy it since I already bought one product from this brand and was very satisfied. Now I think this one is even better than the first! It's an amazingly powerful blender (never seen a blender rotating and cutting so fast), it has a few modes and it's easy to use. It also doesn't move a lot because of the little suction cups in the bottom. I recommend this to anyone who wants a solid, made out of metal and thick glass blender but doesn't want to pay a premium price. This is definitely the best blender I've owned.
