Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are the best Fudenosuke pens for lettering that I have found. I love this set, as you get 3 each of the "hard" (less flexible) and soft tip pens, and the seller had them for a much more reasonable price than I'd been able to find. The ink is dark and smooth, and the pen design fits my hand well and balances. I've had no trouble with smearing, and they don't catch on paper as some others do (as I am left-handed, which mean writing from left to right, strokes need to push across rather than gliding in a pull over the surface). Love them!

I took an intro to calligraphy class at the local library and these are the pens we used in class and were recommended by the teacher. I thought the price was great for getting a whole pack and they seem to be lasting, I'm still on my first pen!

I use these brushes often, and even though they last a long time I go through them quickly sometimes, so it's nice to have 3 of each, especially at such a good price.

These were suggested in an art class for beginning calligraphy. They are very reasonably priced for those just starting and perhaps not wanting to invest in any fancy pens and nibs until they try and see how they like it.
