Work to install but, worth it! Replaces the phony louvres with functional venting.

Very pleased with the product. Came as bare aluminum, had to coat it. I took to a local body shop to paint and mount. A couple items of note: 1) back edge arrived a bit wavy, not easy to flatten 2) recommended hardware requires a LOT of holes; we used rivets I’m very pleased with the result

Turned out great. I used black rivets instead of provided nuts and bolts. Took longer but looks awesome.

Not sure why there is a couple of 1 star ratings but my experience with Dave at Rod Louvers was nothing short of excellent. Great product and replaced my fake cheap h3 louver to spec. As far as concerns of water damging electrical parts or rust, the openings allow air to escape from directly above the fan. No electrical issues, but if you want to be safe you can electric tape any wires remotely close to the opening. As for rust, how many hot rods or muscle cars that have real louvers or no hoods at all that never had rust issues? It's a paranoia. Lets be honest, if you own a H3 you are popping your hood atleast once a month and can see if anything is affected by a real louver. I live in the North East and have zero worry. I see more H3's blowing engines and transmissions. Releasing heat will help prolong your excessively hot h3.
