this throttle is for an lcd controller/display system .  If you are not using an lcd system on your build this won't work, and you would likely want the type of ebike/scooter throttles that have a battery indicator and on/off switch built on.

First off, to be honest I am not familiar with a jetson scooter.  but do know most of these electric bike/scooter motor controllers are pretty much the same. Some are for a kit that has an lcd controller/display and other do not. The throttle options between the two are different, the system this throttle works with is generally for an lcd controller. this throttle has three wires black red and purple. so the simplest way to be sure this will work with your system would be follow your throttle wire to the motor controller and see if yours is the same three wires and colors (purple could be brown wire in some makes) and don't freak if the connector on the motor controller don't match the one provided with this throttle. If the wire color and count are the same merely cut off the motor controller connect and inline splice the wires, you can wire nut, solder, or use blue or red ( pending on wire gage) inline crimp connect. Should be plug and play. The three wire throttle input on the controller. If you have bare wires then you will need to figure out (via a volt meter) which wire is which. The black is negative. There should be a 5v sensing wire and a power wire (output to throttle depends on battery voltage.). Essentially though all controllers have a 3 wire throttle coming out of it that should be plug and play. There is usually a another 3 wire plug that is from the pedal assist. If you attach one and it doesn't work, try the other!
