Es la mejor cubierta que he tenido para subir y bajar por pistas de tierra. Subiendo no ejerce mucho rozamiento y ofrece suficiente tracción. Bajando no tiene demasiada adherencia (la puedes aumentar un poco deshinchando la rueda), pero se comporta bien. A velocidades muy altas en tierra suelta y gravilla puede ziz-zagear un poco en posición trasera. La pena es que no tengan de 1.9.

Maxxis Larsen is always a good option for the back wheel

Tanti km. non adatto al fango
Ottimo per fare tanti km. Va bene su terreni duri, molto scorrevole su asfalto e tiene bene in curva, unica pecca è sul fango. Trattiene il fango e diventa una slick. Ma non si può avere tutto.

Lo que estaba buscando
La he montado en la rueda delantera y en la trasera monté una Maxxis Ikon W, teniendo la combinación perfecta para terreno duro con tramos de piedra suelta. Cometí el error de no darme cuenta de que es tubeless, pero una vez que he hecho la llanta también tubeless estoy mas que satisfecho.

Great for Texas Cross Country!
Amazon offered the lowest price on this item, even over all online bike retailers. The Larsen TT UST has been a great tire for Texas Cross Country...and some front range riding in Colorado. These tires are light and corner very well and generally last a year or so of hard riding. The only issue I have with the Maxxis line are the "air bubbles" that develop under the tread after a year of riding. I have never gotten a flat due to the bubbles, but always a concern on longer rides. I did have an issue with the Larsen's knobs simple breaking away from the tire after a years use as well. These issues could be due to the Texas heat and hard riding.
