The Art of the Fishing Fly

This book is very well written, informative and intriguingly descriptive. In touching on the many aspects of fly fishing it provides the reader a well rounded background and insight into not only the "art of the fishing fly" but also it's use. A great reference with stunning photography, this book is a fantastic addition to any fishing library.

I bought this book to give as a gift and am disappointed that it’s not gift quality. The beautiful cover is damaged and has scratches and marks all over the cover. This book is now useless to me, unfortunately.

Bought this book as Christmas gift for my fly fishing, fly-tying husband. He enjoyed the photos and details re flies. The phots are great and book is good size for shelf or table

I'm a bit biased since my fly and story appear in this book. That being said, the photography, varied selection of flies, editorial work, and print quality are spectacular. I'm proud to have been asked to participate and happy to add this wonderful book to my collection.

Great book and super photos

We use it mostly as decoration for our living room but my fiancé does love to look through it. The cover is beautiful.

In fact I will be using it as a reference book as part of my library. Even though it was written on the other side of the Atlantic many parts apply in the U K.
