3 months of constant use and abuse and still in one piece
I think most parents get annoyed that goalkeeper gloves for kids don’t last at all. I personally was skeptical of dropping money for something I could get at Walmart for cheap. However, I have no regrets in my experience with these gloves the value for your money is there. I bought them over 3 months ago for my 9yo and he uses them at least 4 times a week between practices and his games. When compared to other gloves, these renegades ones are truly made with quality in mind. Feature Highlights - The padding in and out of the glove is well made and sewn in correctly. - The finger-save feature is great for kids. The pieces can be cut so that they fit better within the glove. They have a separate pocket for each finger and are easy to remove and replace. - The material on gloves palm is still in one piece. No major signs of wear, except for the logo. - it offers Proper support for the wrist as well. The folks from renegade have an awesome site for goalkeeping tips and proper care of the gloves. I have taken that advice and I appreciate the effort on this. As my kid gets older and his hand gets bigger, I will definitely buy a pair from renegade again.

Great construction materials, and excellent customer service!
I bought a pair of Renegade Triton Specter size 8 gloves, as I play goalie in a competitive adult league. Amongst the main reasons for this purchase were my need for gloves with finger protection (I have dislocated my fingers of both hands too many times), higher level of grip, higher level of cushion for the palms. I found these gloves to be extremely well made, with superior quality materials, second to none in finger protection capabilities (my fingers do not bend backwards on impact any more, preventing more dislocated joints), with great protection on the wrist area, and excellent grip capabilities. To make this purchase to reach the top level of satisfaction, I would recommend future users: 1. Buy one size bigger from your regular size. The extra cushion and thicker materials reduce the interior space for your fingers and palms. 2. Read carefully the characteristics of each model for this brand. If you are buying the gloves for kids, there is no better brand in my opinion out there. This band outperforms by far way expensive and recognized brands. 3. If you are buying the gloves to use them in teenagers, youth and adult competitive leagues, I strongly recommend carefully navigating through the characteristics of every model, as the proper selection will determine the durability of the gloves. 4. In the same way, follow carefully the initial pre-games water treatment instructions provided in the e-mail that the excellent customer service department sends you after your purchase. This is a critical step for the proper performance of the gloves, and of course your safety during the games. 5. If you have any doubt about your choices, call or email their customer service representative, and you will be guided by the expert advice of the owners (Tyler did in my case) in how to find the model that fits your needs. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, I am sure that Renegade will meet your expectations in regards to reimbursement or replacement of your gloves. I would suggest Renegade to consider adding the next to the already excellent palm materials of their gloves: 1. Folding wrinkles at the base of the fingers, to add extra material extension to shock absorb direct impacts on the fingers and mitigate the damage to the rubber in the fingers area. 2. Strips of extra hardened rubber in the direction of the fingers on both the palms and fingertips to protect the rubber material when the goalie falls hard on the surface with palms facing down. 3. Include tips for goalies in how to land after a dive, in order to increase body and hand safety, but also to increase the durability of the gloves. Over all, extremely satisfied with my purchase and Renegade. They have a bright future in this sport!

Kept finger from breaking! VERY durable while still keeping grip and shape.
Excellent quality - these have been used weekly for a year and have held up twice as long as the last ones we bought. They still have great grip and the fit is excellent. One of the fingerspines has snapped, but that almost certainly saved my husband from a broken finger, so to me that proves that these gloves are worth every penny. We will 100% be buying these again, when they finally do wear out.

Solid Indoor Glove
My review is based on 3 months of weekly play: I play rec indoor goalie and i tend to throw myself around quick a bit on the turf so i go through gloves every 3-6 months. When it was time to re-up my glove order my previous glove was no longer available. I found these when i was looking for a glove that was more geared towards artificial turf vs some of the typical outdoor goalie gloves. There wasnt a whole bunch of reviews for the Renegade gloves at the time of my purchase but they seemed to have checked off all the requirements for a tougher stickier glove, so i made the purchase. When i first received the gloves they were super stiff and quite difficult to get on and next to impossible with one of the gloves already on. I did find that it had a nice wrist loop that allowed for more power to pull the glove on. The gloves are a little on the bigger size (size 9 for me) but still had a sold feel and construction. the palm and fingers had a textured look and feel which is supposed to lend to its ability to hold up on turf. They had a feeling of grip to them that was similar to other outdoor gloves ive used in the past. Overall i was happy with the quality - Five of Five stars During the first few games the gloves were stiff but that is to be expected for a brand new glove that needs to be worn in and loosened up. When deflecting shots i found that since they were a little over-sized, my control at the further end of my reach was lessened. The finger saves do the job and you dont feel them resisting when trying to grip the ball for a throw. I had a few wild throws when i first got them but that was just due to the stiffness. The grip out of the bag is solid, predictable and impressive which was even more impressive after i decided to read the instructions! They state that you should wet the gloves within about 30 minutes of the game start time to really take advantage of the grip. I was surprised by how effective something as simple as watering the gloves would produce. I am finding that shots im catching with both hands stop the ball in air with zero slip. The grip is so good i find the momentum of the ball is pushing me back while the gloves are locked on. Four of Five Stars I am finding that the palm of the gloves are starting to flake a little due to me using my palms to get up off the turf which is a little disappointing. To give credit to Renegade they do suggest that, when you can, get up off the ground with your knuckles but i was hoping these would last a little longer with 1 day a week play over a 3 month period to not flake. Four of Five Stars overall this is a solid glove and recommend to any goalie that primarily plays indoor on turf.

Superbe paire de gants. Jolie couleurs . Semble robuste .

Good fit and comfortable to wear. It has finger guard for all 10 fingers within the gloves to reduce the risk of sprain and fracture. Lastly, the grip is excellent.

The gloves look and feel great quality, I will be trying them out Sunday and Monday once I've used them I'll update my post. Removable spines are great as for some they add extra protection. I've been a goalkeeper for 17 years and these have a snug fit and feel amazing. So having tested out the gloves over the past few weeks, playing two matches a week on astro turf, I can categorically say these are the best gloves I've owned. The grip is great and feel like you have control over the ball at all times. The foam padding with the latex palm are extremely good and takes the sting out of any shot to the point you don't feel any shock throughout the hand or wrist. Gloves have held up extremely well with no signs of tears or rips. I cannot recommend these gloves or the brand enough. Absolutely amazing. I will definitely be buying more pairs when I need any more

I really like how this glove was made. It has replaceable finger protection spines which is a feature you find on high end gloves, and the material is durable. I’ve used it for 3 games, and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear yet. However, one major issue is the textured catching surface. I found it harder to catch the ball compared to my old gloves with flat latex surfaces. The ball slipped out of my hand and didn’t grip the gloves as well, even though they’re practically new. My old gloves gave me better control when catching. Because of this, I’m only giving it 3 stars. But I believe Renegade deserves another chance, so I’m considering ordering a different model from them, though I’ll be avoiding the patterned/textured surface.
