The step by step directions are great and not only show you what to do, but it also tells you the color, what size brush to use for each step, and gives tips to elevate the designs a bit if interested. I like the initial instructions too about basic brush strokes. The book is straightforward and comprehensive. If you're just starting out, it's a great resource to have.
